I have to give kuballin credit on his Zeke analysis. Kid is a baller and can handle. Def is translating to p4 thus far. I think kuballin has softened his stance on Juan, and Juan has done well this year with a slightly reduced role and more scorers around him. Also, our defense hasn’t been a dumpster fire, def has plenty of room to improve but the effort has been there.

@kjayhawks there was a string of Sasha face smashing and Withey ugly facing where those two got slightly elevated in that dept. also Gradey had a punchable face and used it effectively to taunt. But nothing like CB.

That being said, I do very much want to see more Flory and am happy if the KJ-storr-flory-hunter minutes are fluid.

@BShark which part is bizarre. Sorry, i half assedly tried to shovel through the piles of dukeperbole but didnt get to anything significant other than that his parents had 2 sets of twins, he being one of the second set, and that one of the first set died shortly after birth.

Regarding Flory and rebounding, there were 2 or 3 plays that stood out to me.

1. on the offensive end i think he missed a shot then tried to make up for it by physically going into a guy to rebound and drew an early foul. This one was unnecessary and costly.

2. He got called for i think his 4th foul on the biggest ticky tack foul of the game. An opposing player was turned toward basket and Flory got a hand on ball but they called it over the back.

3. When Flory got back in he brought a ball down perpendicular to the defender but because he lost it (lack of grip strength) the defender did not get called for a foul.

All 3 of these are freshman things, but imo Flory clearly goes after it and in a few months i think this could be 2 less fouls against and 1 more foul for and an additional possession or 2

@kjayhawks i think bidunga has to be a consideration as well. I dont think there is a best lineup to be honest, because we have a variety of deficiencies and strengths. All the tools are there for a deep run, but imo keeping a large rotation is imperative. This season will require more out of Bill than usual because for us to maximize our potential he will have to be very active with substitutions.

We did well recovering when bidunga and storr had 4. Didnt miss a beat.
