Frank

Has scored 143 points in his last 4. Doing the math, it’s an absurd scoring spree.
Somebody get this guy in the NBA

Frank played 5 minutes in the Bucks game 2 nights ago… no points, 2 boards and an assist. Nice to see his stellar play in the d-league get a call up. Hopefully he gets more burn
-
Just going to be hard for him to get much run with a team that good. Hopefully once they clinch the 1 seed he can get some major minutes down the stretch.
-
Frank won G-League Player of the Year. Wahooo

Allllll - - RIGHT - - yippee good for him , way to go buddy. Man I hope somehow he can get hooked up with the right tteam - - he deserves it , one of the toughest kids I’ve ever seen play , fierce competitor , just needs that one break. - - ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

-
With Eric Bledsoe as the starting point, it’s gonna hard for Frank to crack the rotation with everyone needing to get back into game shape.
-
I really think he could be a solid back up PG, he just needs to be in the right place. Being drafted by a crap organization can be deadly for ones career.

Frank’s not with the King’s anymore though, he’s with Milwaukee and his obstacle to minutes now are better players ahead of him which is why he was in the G-League this season. He’s in a place now where he could legitimately win a ring, but Frank would have almost no impact on Milwaukee’s ability to win a ring though.
-
Gonna look good to some team now!
-
Milwaukee is likely to run into cap trouble sooner rather than later. Having a league minimum backup of Frank’s caliber could become appealing. He might not see the floor much but you never know and even the min salary is quite good.
-
Exciting news. The other Frank in my hoops life named BIG player of the decade.
-
One to monitor…
On Thursday, Mason received a $1.5 million qualifying offer from the Milwaukee Bucks, making him a restricted free agent. Yahoo Sports reported the news via league sources.
What this means: Mason is now free to go out to any other team in the league and agree to an offer sheet. When he does so, the Bucks will receive a certain amount of time to either match that contract and bring him back — or let him sign with the other team.
If Mason does not get any offers, the Bucks can choose to negotiate a deal with the young point guard, or he can play next season on the $1.5 million tender, which would keep him in Milwaukee for a season with championship expectations.

@BeddieKU23 hopefully his trey gun is blazing. Giannis to Frank… Bang!

Shot 42.5% last season. G-League MVP. I hope he gets PAID. Frank deserves the chance

I figured he would have signed his offer immediately… At least guaranteed he’d be on a roster and bank $1.5M.
-
@Kcmatt7 That’s not how restricted free agency works in the NBA though. Because of their other deals after tendering the offer to Frank, they can’t afford to re-sign Frank anymore even if they wanted to so Milwaukee renounced their rights to Frank and have made Mason an unrestricted free agent now.
-
@Texas-Hawk-10 Could he have signed it before they tendered other offers though?

In theory yes, but it’s not a smart business decision to do that because the qualifying offer is usually a low-ball deal for 1 year. We’ll see if Frank gets an offer anywhere else, I’m sure he will at some point, but this isn’t a bad thing necessarily because had Frank signed that offer sheet, he’d likely either be back on the G-League or have a bunch DNP’s next season. Now he has a chance to go somewhere he can get some minutes as a back up PG and get a better deal next summer.
There’s several teams still in need of a back up PG, so it’s possible Frank can catch on somewhere even if it’s a 2-way contract.

Frank signing with the sixers. G League deal though

Originally I had put that he’d be with Embiid but this deal doesn’t look like he will be playing with the big boys
