One time KU target Brandon Podziemski ended up at Illinois.
Texas lost a pair of 4 star recruits, they followed Shaka to Marquette. Ellis & Joplin, Texas seemed to really like that pair.

LSU, FSU, Pitt and Ohio State are the players so not related to KU at all I just find it amusing.

Consensus #1 overall play Chet Holmgren announcing tomorrow on Sportscenter. Appears it will be Gonzaga. There was some G-League talk but as of now sounds like he will announce for Zags. I’d assume with Sallis this will give them the #1 overall class for next year as well.

@jayballer67 I don’t know TyTy is not still in play. My gut tells me he is a long shot but I don’t know. Never thought we would ink Wiggins but it happened. I’m sure the staff has a pretty good idea the chances of him coming here and will continue to recruit accordingly. Not knowing what Ochia is going to do will hurt us more than anything in my opinion

@Oldmanhawk And therein lies the problem with players being able to stay in the draft until the very last minute. Before signing, most players want to know who is or isn’t coming back. “Uh, gee, not sure… Let us get back with you.” Players want to know who is coming back, but the university can only respond with, “err…”

So I will preface this with obviously it is the decision of TyTy and his family, they can take however long they want. But I really was hoping he would decide soon so the staff can move on.

Tamar Bates to Indiana. Good on him for picking another black coach. Glad that talk wasn’t bullshit.

I know the family a little. That was something that was very important to him personally, so its no surprise that he sought out another program with a black coach.
I think we will see more players that emphasize that in this social situation.

@Oldmanhawk Nope. Bill is going to recruit and have a spot for him until the end. Then whiff and scramble. Seen it before, but we will be fine. Biggest key is Jalen coming back as expected.

@BShark yeah, maybe his competitiveness gets the better of him sometimes because we have seen the scramble before just have to think there’s some sort of plan B. Totally agree about how important Jalens return is. Big piece next year

Anytime my man! It’ll be tough for sure. Yesufu, Tyty, and Dave are ball dominant for sure. I think Cuffe has a long way to go to adjust. He’s skipping his senior year after only playing two games as a junior. Big jump from basically a sophomore to Big 12 competition.

Well that’s very true, guess I just went brain dead not realizing he only played two games his Junior year. - -Still very much a fan though cause I truly believe he will be very good before it’s all said and done
