Just for drama purposes I reckon. - so he can continue to be the center of focus for awhile longer. What ever happened to the good old days they didn’t ever announce a final 5-4-10- what the hell ever. remember the days when a kid was ready to announce - - he announced. Or he would commit to the School and then then next day or so you would know. No hats - -no little video’s -no instagrams - -JUST ANNOUNCE for Gods sake - -all this other BS isn’t change the landscape lol

NIL should make these interesting, as players sell the rights to their announcements. T-shirts sold to the crowds, etc, but they will have issues if they run afoul of the schools’ licensing rules. Can’t put logos on items to be sold, etc. Wonder if the schools will grant permission?

I guess that’s @jayballer67 's point. It has become a big “wait for it, wait for it” though they and everyone else already knows social media event. The NBA draft last night was kind of in the same vein… Hell, they even ask them about their fashion choices, etc. It felt like I was watching the academy awards. I turned it off after an hour, watched HGTV with my girl instead

So honest sincere question here Farmer. - Is Rice that talented to consider G-League right out of high school? I’ve heard alot of good things about him , must be pretty good if he is one of these players that’s considering that.
He is announcing tomorrow. - -The guy from Zagsblog Zagoria is predicting KU would be cool if we can get him on Campus & committed even if IT IS for one year

I think so. The other league (I forget the name) could be an option if the G League falls through.

Don’t think this makes sense from a fit perspective with Dick and (likely) Rice on board. That’s a lot of guys for the 3/4, then you likely still have Braun and KJ as well.
