Thx for letting me cuss

Why Andy didn’t take one more shot at the end zone before kicking is beyond me.

A lot of that going around. Even my wife!

Well, tomorrow against ISU we need to stop the potential trifecta of sh*t losses for this long weekend
-
I’m headed to isu game and drive back tmrw pm. Not thrilled, but son in wichita bought concert tickets for my bday tues, Beatles-stones at orpheum. Afraid might be some freezing drizzle tues am. We haven’t lost w/me there, so feel like I have to go.
-
I’m not leaving til tmrw
-
@Crimsonorblue22 Well, then, I guess it really applies: YOU GO, GIRL!
-
Smh I watched 5 Chiefs games this year…four of them losses. Oh well I really hope I dont have to wait another 25 years to see the Chiefs in another one of these games.
-
I’m sticking by my its rigged comments. The refs gave KC a make up call but 2 or 3 laughable calls was the only reason it went to OT. Now the chiefs still screwed themselves in the first half offensively. But I still think the refs would’ve just done more than.

There were soooo many things in this game, but this was a big one.
-
Chiefs better hope Mahomes doesn’t want that $200 million contract that is being rumored. A huge reason why the Patriots have been able to sustain their run for so long is because of Brady taking far less money than he could so the Pats can sign other players to fill holes on their team.
Aaron Rodgers contract is a huge burden for the Packers because they can’t sign enough quality players to put a good supporting cast around him.
That’s the biggest lesson the Chiefs need to take from New England if they want to be next in line to take over from New England as the next dominant AFC team.

The logic behind that strategy is in case something bad happens on the snap, Chiefs can spike it and kick again. You don’t see it happen a lot anymore, but that’s the logic behind that decision.
-
Also me not being a big NFL guy but watching KC alot this year, probably more than the last 10 because they are exciting. The NFL has to change overtime in the playoffs to same as college. The team that gets the ball wins like 75% of time.
-
@Texas-Hawk-10 I don’t think you can spike a fumbled snap. A spike has to be done immediately by the qb under center. I think that would be intentional grounding, as happened in 2011 when the Bears qb backed up a couple steps and spiked. 10 sec runoff of the clock.
However, the holder could pick up the snap and throw out past the downfield guys to stop the clock.
-
@mayjay Point’s the same, run the FG unit out that early so if there’s a bad snap, there’s time to run a second FG attempt.
-
@Texas-Hawk-10 Oh, of course! But there would be much less drama if they can just spike it. After today, I hate drama.
-
Lunar eclipse is at half
-
I agree with Reids decision to just kick it because they didnt have a timeout. even if you are stopped at 1, you’d be lucky to spike it. The defense couldnt stop Gronkowski on the outside all night, the Patriots knew it and went to it several times when it mattered. The question I have is how long before Sutton is fired? The chiefs have a chance to be the best team in the afc for years to come if the right off season moves are made.
-
Brilliance? Should’ve had 3 picks. Smh
Oh well, I guess he is the GOAT.
-
@dylans Yes, he was brilliant. No other way to look at it with those numerous 3rd and long completions.
-
To bad mahomes wasn’t on the field in ot, 3 tds, zero picks! Brilliant I say! Now our D? But roughing the passer? BS
-
-
@Crimsonorblue22 Even with that play, the Chiefs still had a shot win the game later on. Dee Ford didn’t pay attention to where he was lined up though and negated what would have been the game winning INT.
-
@Texas-Hawk-10 I bet he is dying today
-
Contract year for Ford too. Wonder if it’ll cost him? Probably not.
-
Taking bets on the day Sutton gets fired/retires?

No where to go but up. Used the entire draft on defensive guys last year and ended up ranked 31st?!? What a joke.
