Well guys , I hate to be a guy that pee’s on peoples parades BUT - - -I’m just not feeling it with Jalen. I just don’t get that feel he is coming here. - -You would of thought he might of at least said that he had a good visit on his twitter or something - - been really quiet on it from other KU fans/people - -just noting being said period. - -unlike when Rayjon Tucker was here it was lighting up - - -just real quiet - the only thing I seen was when he was coming in and he said - - Whx up Lawrence? - -basically it.
Read N Carolina board - -pretty mixed over their about 50/50 thinking he might go there. - -Had to laugh at one of the posters made the remark that he had wanted N Carolina the 1st time around. -Thought not sure what article you seen that but best read again. - -He had made the comment that before he visited Michigan he was pretty set on KU - -talked about how he really liked the Morris twins.
I have just felt this for awhile now - -I think with Michigan hiring Howard - -and Howard having set up a time to talk with him - - I just really think Jalen ends up re-committing to Michigan - I hate it , but I think is going to stay put. - - ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

Tucker’s attention to social media didn’t help us.
He has his UNC visit followed by a decision. I figure they are going to keep quiet until the decision is reached. Hopefully some info from the staff leaks out about their confidence in getting him

Well according to Wilson the two most important things are his role and impact on the team. If that’s true then it would be hard to find a better place than KU next season. I’m skeptical, though. I’m sure there’s a little bit of green tint in his sunglasses.

He’ll try. UNC has never had visits as good as KU. UNC has to have a good answer for Wilson’s role, which is far from a sure thing since Roy signed like 5 perimeter players already in 2019 and Roy sold them all on immediate PT, with the exception of Francis.

UNC’s maxed at 13 scholarships right now. So would UNC’s pitch to Wilson, other than a few bags of cash, be playing time for the 2020 season?

I heard Self pushed hard for a commitment and drove Sam’s mom bananas. Not good in hindsight. Doesn’t really solve our problem at the 2 (though there’s a reasonable argument that sophomore Ochai > freshman Williamson) but definitely would make Wilson a non-factor. Oh well.

@FarmerJayhawk I think he’d be nice to have but yeah I think the main concern right now is a capable secondary ball handler that can shoot. Does anyone even possibly fill that role but Kyree Walker? We need Walker badly.
I’d be ecstatic with Walker, taking a flier on that Bilau kid (seems to me like he is trying to recruit KU more than the other way around perhaps) and having an open scholarship.

He will play AAU so we won’t hear anything until July. KU has a great shot if he reclasses. If he stays in 20 I think KU goes elsewhere.

I like Corey, I disagree though. KU wants him to pretty badly, and Hillcrest can make it happen if Walker works at it. Like I said awhile ago, don’t count out a mid year reclass. I’m not sure how interested KU would be in that situation unless they miss on Wilson and have a couple scholarships laying around.

I like him a lot too the more I see. I think you have him essentially take this year off while developing and he could very well be in the top 3 of the post rotation next year. He’s athletic and can shoot it a little bit, decent passer.
