Pick your five: Lineup possibilities for Duke, Kansas and Kentucky
-
ESPN thinks that only three schools are playing this year.

@wrwlumpy I think his lineups are way off. No way would they start KJ over Doke. The writer seems to think that Vick will be in every and any starting lineup, which I’m not sure will happen. Does dotson start out as a starter? Not sure about that, either. One thing I do know- we won’t be going to a small ball lineup unless we have no other choice.
-
The idea of having a “Lawrence Five” that would enable defensive switches across the lineup and not include Marcus is beyond ignorant.

Myron Medcalf wrote the article, enough said…

Garrett is a much worse offensive player than any of the guys Metcalf listed there.
-
Anyone read the article Moore wrote on Vick? I don’t belong.
-
@Crimsonorblue22 No. who doesn’t belong?

Dedric a point guard? Lost me after reading that. There are a lot more intriguing lineups than shown here. How about a “big man” lineup? A center and two forwards, all with size. The big lineup reminds me of “bad ball” and we could really clamp down on teams. Something that could help stop the momentum of an opponent who is on an offensive uptick.

@drgnslayr I’ve been thinking about a lineup with Dok, Dedric, Silvio and any guards coach wants to play. WOW.
-
If you want a “big” lineup, you could go Grimes, KJ, Dedric, Big Dave and Doke. That lineup still effectively fills out each position. There’s some spacing issues with that group, but it could work for short stretches.

I like the 4 guard lineup and dedric. kJ at 4, Vick, grimes, Dotson or Moore. I’ve fallen in love w/the 4 guard. Nice to have options.
