Raiders v. Broncos
-
I’m sad to see this game isn’t televised in Kansas. It’s a very important game for the Chiefs and interesting because both teams are playing back up QBs. I hope our KU alums, Talib and Harris have stellar games and stop the Oakland offense cold. It sucks that Denver is going to play it’s least experienced QBs to get them some experience. For the first time ever, I’m rooting for Denver, as painful as that is.

@stoptheflop lets hope we take care of business!

Come on Chiefs!
-
@Crimsonorblue22 Denver up 7 on Oakland early
-
@dylans much better
-
Denver up and Chiefs getting ready to take the lead. Go Chiefs.
-
Ah Oh. Bad interception=pick 6. I guess the pass was tipped, but sometimes I wonder about Alex Smith.
-
Chiefs are going to win the division and get the first round bye…
-
@DCHawker awesome news! Need time to heal some guys up
-
Alex Smith had a very good game, On the interception the ball was tipped at the line of scrimmage; several Chief players had a shot at the runner but missed and he returned the interception 90 yards for a TD.
-
The INT by Alex was not his or the receiver’s fault. Alex scored 3 TDs, had a great game. Must get Houston & Berry healthy…
-
@ralster didn’t Reid say Houston would be ready?
-
@ralster @Crimsonorblue22 What’s wrong with Berry?
Sounds like Houston will play its just a matter of how knicked up he is after four weeks of rest.
-
@Crimsonorblue22 yea he will play. Think they wanted him to be 100% for the playoffs. After last year where we couldn’t touch Brady, we had to make sure we got Houston healthy. We saw what he can do when he is feeling good. That first Broncos game he damn near won by himself. Andy Reid handled the end of the season perfectly. And I am really happy with how good the offense has looked the past two weeks. All of the media talk about us not getting the ball to Kelce and Tyreek must have opened his and Smith’s eyes.
Also, Maclin starting to look like himself again here late. And Conley had a very solid game this last week. We have the weapons on offense to get it done. Just up to Reid to call the plays and Smith to trust his playmakers.
What worries me the most is our run defense. Linebacker depth is lacking. We may need to revisit bringing in another linebacker. Also, our stop-gap defensive ends are starting to show why they are supposed to be backups. We really miss Howard and Bailey.
-
Andy Reid said the Chiefs would have all 53 players available for their opening playoff game. That includes LB Justin Houston and RB Spencer Ware, who didn’t play last week against the Chargers because of injuries.
