KU v. ISU live chat here!

-
Mason killing us
-
@BeddieKU23 No snark there, huh
-
Live and die by the layup
-
Iām really torn on Mason. His PG skills just not there yet. Not sur ehow Iād feel if heād hit taht layup?
-
SO now we go into the dance 5-4 in our last 9 games.
-
He likes the quick 3ā¦brilliantā¦there are 4.1 seconds left.
-
driving layups into the trees: fools gold
-
@wissoxfan83 Yep, just like last year.
-
I just dont know how much more important the game needs to be. Blowing a 17 pt lead in march is tough to swallow. Especially on some pretty lazy play for a big portion of the second half
-
Finally Fran says something nice!
-
Crap. Crap. Crap.
-
N - O - W
i am leaving.
-
ISU wonāt last long if they keep digging holes to climb out of. Their luck will run out soon.
-
Well - there it is - give up 47 points in a half isnāt going to win many games - and they did it without 3s. Probably should have gone to the zone earlier. Until next week.
-
So what is the implication for the next games/tournament? Does ISU perform better in NCAA to help carry Big 12 weight? Does this make us hungrier or introduce even more doubt into our minds as we go forward.?
-
Hopefully we can heal up
-
Coach Hoiberg looks pale
-
Unfortunately no lead is safeā¦
-
@dylans Perry just not strong!
-
Too true. Heās not right.
-
@brooksmd Would tend to agree, but there is something about them. They only made 2-16 3 pointers - no way on earth I would have thought we would have lost the game, let alone lose a 17 point lead unless they were draining 3s.
-
@DCHawker Perry! TOās by mason
-
@Crimsonorblue22 Well people had doubts weād get past TCU, gave us little chance against Baylor and we almost beat ISU. Yeah, we letāem back in the game but they didnāt quit. Itās only a 3 game tournament championship for ISU. Meanwhile, we are sole owners of our 11th straight psuedo Big 12 Conference Championship that most thought we would not get. RCJH love da Hawks!
-
@DCHawker the defense was just so lazy the first 12 minutes of the second half. Im amazed we were even in the game at the end
-
@brooksmd some of these posters should head to the kusports site to chat if they cant say something decent - then hush up or go thereā¦A loss is not good but is part of being a fan if thatās what we really are. then sun still comes up again the next day.
-
@cragarhawk Well we did start with a 17 point lead
-
@DCHawker Agreed. I also thought they were living on banana peels with their come back play.
-
@Bwag true story. And whether its ānice to sayā or not. Im,not capable of giving them a pass for lazy play. I can take most anything as a fan. But not another team flat out playing harder and wanting it more
-
Oubre had only 3 points ā¦ He took the day off ā¦ 2 Rebounds ā¦
-
@DCHawker Jesseās insight in pre-game breakdown is that they lead the league in 2pt shot %. Isuppose thatās how an Outside-In game can accomplish the same as Inside-Out. Itās why you should play to your teamās personnel strengthsā¦
Bill Self needs to study Bruce Leeā¦donāt let the forms constrain you.
-
@cragarhawk u donāt think Perryās knee had something to do w/it
-
@cragarhawk Agree.
-
@Crimsonorblue22 did it in the first half? Hes one guy. Not 5. Too many guys letting ppl just blow by them not even trying early in the second
-
So why do the NC teams seem to always have home area advantage in the post season tournaments?
-
@Bwag Good point - the Mayor countered the perimeter pressure by taking our guys off the dribble - Self didnāt counter back with the zone look until after the lead was gone
-
@cragarhawk he wasnāt limping in the first half. No excuses
-
@wissoxfan83 Damm damm damm
-
@cragarhawk Yep we do have a couple that need D work. Greene primarily and Mari. Next year I do believe we will have one of the best backcourts in college ball with Mason and Graham.
-
pulling for Notre Dame nowā¦not due to the passion of the yearās immediately following the last coaching change, just NC has home ācourtā advantage and is too close to us in all time wins.
-
@Bwag nd could shove us off the 2 seed
-
@brooksmd we really need for Mason to improve his PG skills. He doesnāt make the pass when and where it needs to be consistently and with accuracy. Off center a little and the receiver needs to adjust and loses any advantage he could have had as the defense adjusts. He doesnāt hit trailers on breaks consistently and then too often still drives to shoot versus drive to pass.
-
@Crimsonorblue22 didnāt consider that.
-
@Bwag agreee
-
@brooksmd weāve seen them all play great D though at times. It just looked lazy to me. Or maybe tired. I donāt know. But it was obvious who wanted the win more to me. And thatās the part that stink . You can take getting beat. As a fan you know itās gonna happen sometime . But like that? Thatās tough
-
Looks like Lawrence hi lost
-
@Bwag Or does Graham take on more PG duties next yearā¦not there yet, but makes me wonder how that plays out.
-
We need a 5, Bragg will help. Heās a 4 though. If oubre leaves, although today proves he should stay, we need an athletic wing

KO is gone no matter how much you wish otherwise. Lock for a lotto pick = big cash.
You can still drool over him while heās in the league
-
@Kip_McSmithers ok!! Just wishful thinking, not the drooling over him, but think he could vastly improve. Not consistent, and poor w/rt hand.
