KU v. ISU live chat here!
-
@Crimsonorblue22 Well people had doubts we’d get past TCU, gave us little chance against Baylor and we almost beat ISU. Yeah, we let’em back in the game but they didn’t quit. It’s only a 3 game tournament championship for ISU. Meanwhile, we are sole owners of our 11th straight psuedo Big 12 Conference Championship that most thought we would not get. RCJH love da Hawks!
-
@DCHawker the defense was just so lazy the first 12 minutes of the second half. Im amazed we were even in the game at the end
-
@brooksmd some of these posters should head to the kusports site to chat if they cant say something decent - then hush up or go there…A loss is not good but is part of being a fan if that’s what we really are. then sun still comes up again the next day.
-
@cragarhawk Well we did start with a 17 point lead
-
@DCHawker Agreed. I also thought they were living on banana peels with their come back play.
-
@Bwag true story. And whether its “nice to say” or not. Im,not capable of giving them a pass for lazy play. I can take most anything as a fan. But not another team flat out playing harder and wanting it more
-
Oubre had only 3 points … He took the day off … 2 Rebounds …
-
@DCHawker Jesse’s insight in pre-game breakdown is that they lead the league in 2pt shot %. Isuppose that’s how an Outside-In game can accomplish the same as Inside-Out. It’s why you should play to your team’s personnel strengths…
Bill Self needs to study Bruce Lee…don’t let the forms constrain you.
-
@cragarhawk u don’t think Perry’s knee had something to do w/it
-
@cragarhawk Agree.
-
@Crimsonorblue22 did it in the first half? Hes one guy. Not 5. Too many guys letting ppl just blow by them not even trying early in the second
-
So why do the NC teams seem to always have home area advantage in the post season tournaments?
-
@Bwag Good point - the Mayor countered the perimeter pressure by taking our guys off the dribble - Self didn’t counter back with the zone look until after the lead was gone
-
@cragarhawk he wasn’t limping in the first half. No excuses
-
@wissoxfan83 Damm damm damm
-
@cragarhawk Yep we do have a couple that need D work. Greene primarily and Mari. Next year I do believe we will have one of the best backcourts in college ball with Mason and Graham.
-
pulling for Notre Dame now…not due to the passion of the year’s immediately following the last coaching change, just NC has home “court” advantage and is too close to us in all time wins.
-
@Bwag nd could shove us off the 2 seed
-
@brooksmd we really need for Mason to improve his PG skills. He doesn’t make the pass when and where it needs to be consistently and with accuracy. Off center a little and the receiver needs to adjust and loses any advantage he could have had as the defense adjusts. He doesn’t hit trailers on breaks consistently and then too often still drives to shoot versus drive to pass.
-
@Crimsonorblue22 didn’t consider that.
-
@Bwag agreee
-
@brooksmd we’ve seen them all play great D though at times. It just looked lazy to me. Or maybe tired. I don’t know. But it was obvious who wanted the win more to me. And that’s the part that stink . You can take getting beat. As a fan you know it’s gonna happen sometime . But like that? That’s tough
-
Looks like Lawrence hi lost
-
@Bwag Or does Graham take on more PG duties next year…not there yet, but makes me wonder how that plays out.
-
We need a 5, Bragg will help. He’s a 4 though. If oubre leaves, although today proves he should stay, we need an athletic wing

KO is gone no matter how much you wish otherwise. Lock for a lotto pick = big cash.
You can still drool over him while he’s in the league
-
@Kip_McSmithers ok!! Just wishful thinking, not the drooling over him, but think he could vastly improve. Not consistent, and poor w/rt hand.
