Well we had some hopes at least. We had no answer for that defensive intensity in the last drive. KState fans, happy for your win against a 2-5 team. Basketball is a sport too and we own this state in that sport more than you do in football because we have banners and trophies.

Is JD coming back next season ? It maybe for the best if not. I thought the defense really played well for having a short field repeatedly. We got out coached in several key points of the game. We once again couldn’t make simple plays that D1 football players should make routinely like extra points, catching passes and fielding kick offs. It’s ground hog day with these idiots every week.

@FarmerJayhawk he has been better for sure but turnovers in key moments have been his niche this season. The pass before half was likely PI but wasn’t a smart read to being with, then back to back fumbles to end drives.

We get spanked by 20 Friday night in a game that never felt close and choke away a win against silo tech for the second straight year. It’s been pretty tough to be a jayhawk these last few years. I’m sorry but no way we make a FF in basketball.

Seems absurd that 6-7 guys rushing the passer wouldn’t leave a few chances for numerous over the middle passes. But no one ran crossing routes, despite having 2 timeouts and over a minute left. I am now in the fire the OC camp.

@mayjay right, this is the third time this season JD didn’t throw to at least give his guys a chance and fumbled it. I would’ve ran a jail break screen once or twice there middle of the field was wide open.

Hi, Hollywood? It’s the Kansas Jayhawks here. Yes, i know, we seem to call week after week. Our coaches and staff have run out of dramatic ways to lose games. You know, since we do it every week now. We have to keep the fans on the edges of their seats. Do you have anybody available who can write up a good implosion, tearjerker ending for our fans? Oh, good. Thx. Just make sure the script arrives with about 3-4 minutes to go in the 4th quarter tonight. Oh, and say hi to Breaking Bad’s Aaron Paul for us.
