I don’t think Jalen will be running a ton this year, stinks because he’s arguably a better runner than passer

I’m hoping Cole Ballard plays a bunch in the 2nd half. He needs more game time if he has to step in at QB1.

@stoptheflop what worries me is the offense is night and day more dynamic if Jalen uses his feet too. I get not running tonight but we will need his feet to win games.

Looks like last time KU held a team to single digits was Central Michigan in 2018.

I would Pretty much basic standard offense, no showing anything special - - pretty basic say that what was about what you would expect for he 1st game of the year Glad no injuries,. A little surprised Ballard came in quite that soon but was OK, now get after Illinois

I was shocked the game wasn’t sold out, you could buy tickets up to 20 minutes before kick but they were still $120 apiece.

wow! I like. Were the tickets before the game 120 or more? Ballard looks pretty good too. There was no pre or post game show, hope that gets fixed, I need that. If anybody hears about that… Glad you got to go!

I love JD as much as the next guy but he’s a long ways behind statistically to start the year. Sanders threw for 450 yards and 4 TDs last night. JD only completed 60% of his passes, had a terrible pick and a QBR of 51.7. That’s not a good line by any stretch of imagination. We will find out a lot next Saturday in Champagne.

@kjayhawks This was never going to be a big stats game for Daniels. Sanders put up big numbers because he played a full game and CU needed every bit of his performance to win. It’d be a big problem if we needed JD6 to put up big numbers last night.

Have seen multiple ranks and they all have KU up to # 2o now. – -Also saw that Draft Kings has an opening line for our game and they have us as a six point favorite.
