What BS
-
Hardman sighting yet?
-
@nuleafjhawk was waiting for you to put that on Mahomes somehow lol
-
@rockchalkjayhawk I’ve been telling everyone why all season. The two team “leaders” don’t care about football anymore. They care about money and notoriety. Football is just a paycheck now.
A big damn, obscenely large paycheck that would feed some 3rd world countries for decades.
-
@kjayhawks it’s coming!
-
@nuleafjhawk you’re wrong!
-
What is the attendance today?
-
@Crimsonorblue22 About? Life in general?
-
Mahomes and Kelce just being about money
-
Gotta get some pressure on browning
-
@Crimsonorblue22 I am absolutely right, in my opinion.
-
Got lucky there! Let’s move the ball towards the other end. Where’s hardman?
-
Come on D!
-
Do I need to separate @Crimsonorblue22 and @nuleafjhawk haha
-
@kjayhawks I’m sorry. I don’t mean to be that guy. But I don’t respect either one of thm anymore.
Play football. Eat, sleep and breathe football. Your NFL salaries are sufficient. Own every sporting team, hamburger franchise and whatever else you own, plus all 500 commercials AFTER you retire.
-
Butker looking good this afternoon lol
-
@kjayhawks he’s a fantastic kicker!
-
Spags did a great job with pressure in the second half.
Butker had a miss last couple of games otherwise he is having a phenomenal year.
-
@AsadZ no air ball! Lol! This was much better! Rice getter much better, good return guy. Scary moment. Pacheco, love him. Watson good, Travis better, gray had one early. Mahomes looked better. Need to finish w/td’s but I’m more optimistic. Clicking. Good to see Taylor, for any of the haters!
-
Happy New Year, Chiefs fans!
Luckily i dozed off during the game. Woke up just in time to see the win!

He is currently the 2nd most accurate kicker of all-time (minimum 100 field goals attempted) behind only Justin Tucker.
-
@BShark Glad to see that he has moved up again. Last year the injury in Arizona in the first game screwed him up all year, on EPs, too.

He definitely seemed to rush back from that injury.
-
@rockchalkjayhawk it was a doze worthy event.
-
Hardman catch? Wow! So if Chris Jones wouldn’t have held out, would he have made this million he’s working so hard to get? Did I make sense?
-
I don’t get why Kelce can’t try for 16 yds but Jones can try for money? I’d say we need them both healthy!
-
Nice to see hardman get some reps, think he can help moving forward
-
@kjayhawks he’s shocking me! Hope he can be consistent.
-
Congrats Chris Jones.
-
Nice to see some the guys that work hard all season get to play and come away with a win. Great for morale and building Mo going into next week.
-
Sorry, just had to throw in I’m so proud of my team - -Gb , I had no idea. If you were to tell me that they would make the playoffs in their first year after Rodgers- -would of thought no way. , especially the way they started I think 2-6 - -finish regular season 9-8.
Sure I’m sure next weekend will be their end of Season - -can’t be mad. The Maturation, is that even a word lol lol - -anyways the growth of Jordon Love was crazy, had no idea some of the things he has accomplished this Season in his FIRST year as the starting QB. - -He threw his 31st & 32 TD’ passes of the year today which is good for 2nd best in the NFL - -had no idea he had done so well & that 14 of those TD’s was on third down which is good for 2nd only behind P Maholmes. - - , Only QB in the NFL to throw for over 1,800 yards - 16 TD’S with ONE interception & have a QBR of 128.8- not to shabby for first year. - -Things look bright for my boys - -youngest team in the NFL. -Been a good year no matter what, anything at all is gravy now.

No. That was negotiated in during his holdout. But he also gave up salary to get it. Probably a wash at best (I don’t know the exact numbers).
-
@dylans I remember thinking with the fines and such it was pretty much a wash
-
That’s what I meant.
-
You gotta be f—-ing kidding me!
The Chiefs game is EXCLUSIVE to Peacock streaming on Saturday.
That is horseshit with a capital horse!
I’m steamed.
-
@Crimsonorblue22 from what I understand, it was Kelce’s decision not to play.
-
@rockchalkjayhawk might as well get used to it. I wouldn’t be surprised if “they” figure a way to charge us to listen on the radio before long.

I’m with you 100 % , & KC is not my # 1 team but still like them and am pulling for them and wanted to watch them play. - -Just total BS. How do you put the team that has pretty much been dominating the playoffs in recent years on fricken Peacock ? - -Just insane , my Dad bless his heart would be rollling over in his grave-- NEVE thought I’d have to pay to watch hings - -anything on the TV - -Holy crap
-
So you sign up for $5.99 and cancel next week. Not a fatal issue.
-
IMHO, It’s bigger BS than simply signing up and cancelling.
I’m a Comcast/Xfinity customer who is entitled to have complimentary access to Peacock. But because I only use Xfinity for internet (I use YouTube.TV as my streaming and I don’t use the Xfinity cable offer), I don’t get access to Peacock – unless I let them install a cable box on my network (presumably so they can mine all my viewing data). It’s ‘free’, they say. Yeah right.
-
@bskeet I signed up through my Roku. If you don’t use cable, Roku is a nice app for all our streaming services. (You can load lots of streaming services onto the Roku homepage. Some smart TVs, like Samsung a few years ago, don’t have a full selection–but those may be different now. Our LG does.)
-
@Crimsonorblue22 Chris gave up 3.6million in fines and lost salary and gained 3million in new money. - lost 600k to skip training camp, I bet he’d gladly pay 600k to skip training camp lol
-
@dylans I still think he got bad advice from his agent, gained nothing by holding out.
-
@kjayhawks I agree. He also is very unlikely to be a Chief next year because of that advice.
-
@dylans yep I think this maybe the last hurrah for the chiefs “dynasty” if you want to call it that. 8 straight division titles, 5 afc championship games, 3 Super Bowl appearances and 2 rings. Jones is gone, Sneed is likely gone, Gay, Nnadi and Allegretti are all in contract years as well several others. Just don’t see them keeping most of these guys with the cap space they have. I think they stand a chance because the defense has been one of the best since DT was roaming the field in KC. Offense will be fine if they keep down penalties and turnovers.

I’m not seeing the end of the Chiefs dynasty. If those guys leave, there should be cap space to sign replacements, right?
Sneed leaving is the biggest scare for me. He would be hard to replace.
IF the Chiefs flame out in the playoffs, the GM surely will go after some offensive game changers.
-
Running it back doesn’t seem to work anyway. You need roster churn. I really hope they can hold on to Sneed. Chris Jones is fantastic, but the cap space is too limited to give him 30 mil a year. Don’t want to end up in cap hell like the chargers.
-
@kjayhawks Chiefs still have great talent. Their issues have been with drops and TOs, stupid stuff which can be fixed.
D has significant young talent.
I am optimistic.
-
@AsadZ @dylans @rockchalkjayhawk I thinking they will still be a playoff team but not dominating as they have been.
-
@AsadZ mahomes won’t settle.
