Diallo released his final 6 that does include KU. Think this is nothing more than a courtesy.
Kansas: “ Kansas is another one of those blue blood programs. They have a great reputation of winning basketball games and making pros. Coach Self is another one of those great hall of fame coaches and Coach Townsend has done a great job recruiting me as well. It’s a blessing being recruited by one of the blue bloods.”

Top 5 prospect Dylan Harper is down to a final 5 and has KU on that list. Hasn’t visited KU, he has been to Duke and Indiana already. Said he will take his 3 remaining visits after the season. Son of Ron Harper Sr and younger brother of Ron Harper Jr who was a star at Rutgers. He is in contention for the #1 spot.

Probably all in on Duke
That’s been the word on his recruitment since he took a visit there. Not worried about this one.

5-star PG David Castillo has an official visit scheduled for KU on 2/17 for the home Baylor game.

Initial thoughts watching Castillo’s “tape” is that he has a silky sooth stroke and just absolutely pure… VERY good at pulling the trigger moving to his left (a lot of the best shooters are). Looks like he has really good ball handling.
Concerns would obviously be his size and athleticism. Doesn’t seem to be an elite athlete (that’s okay if you can shoot 40% from deep).
Odd to me a top 25 guy doesn’t have a writeup on 247. Looks to me like a 3-4 year guy that would do well in the new Self 4-out offense. Would be really nice to play him next to another PG that has some size and really make that pick and roll deadly.

Pretty much all my thoughts as well. Saw 3-4 year player due to lack of size/athleticism but his shot is really good mechanically and smooth and he gets set and executes really well at this young age. From the 3-4 videos I’ve watched, he knows he’s good, has some confidence about him, he can get to his spot or get his shot off with ease. For a Top 25 type guy I was thinking this is Bill’s kinda guy to develop

Miller is a 5 * SG & the 14th ranked player in the Nation according to 247 - -23 rd by rivals. - - The rivals forecast same thing as a CB has KU with a 38 % right now- -KU is the only listed - -Pretty solid 6’5 nice size.- -If you read the break down that Beddie put out thre you see like 3 of the guys said they wanted to visit for sure- -means we got their attention - -that’s a good thing.

Yeah we have had some kids that found out they really are not about it. Bragg and Bryce both come to mind. Never know until they get here.

David Castillo spoke about his visit. Interesting stuff.
David, I have so many questions for you but I don’t need to be a rocket scientist to tell you the only choice you have left to make. We’ll find out what kind of player he wants to be when he makes it.
“The visit was great,” Castillo said. “It was great to see the game, the winning program, and their tradition at Kansas. They told me want me to come in, work hard, and be a high character guy who can be their point guard and score the ball. That is a lot of responsibility coming in from a guy like Bill Self. To hear him say those things was cool.”
"Castillo says he has not thought about scheduling more official visits. He is unsure of when he plans to announce a list cut or a decision but says he will announce when the time feels right.
“I want to play for a coach who believes in my talents, strengths, and what I can do,” Castillo said on his college decision. “I am going to come in and work hard. I am a competitor who likes to compete. I hate losing so I want to play for family-oriented program where the coach believes in my ability.”
If you hate Losing, you only got one choice to avoid that.

Marcus Adams Jr, 4 star wing from California is taking an official visit to KU this weekend. The 6’8 wing recently dropped a top 5 that didn’t include KU since KU and a whole bunch of others offered after his list dropped.
UCLA is the rumored front runner here. Free trip?
For those wondering what kind of game Marcus has. He’s the modern 4, has great size at 6’8, listed 200 but recent film would suggest he’s probably a bit more than that. Physically stands out, strong looking player already (mix of J Will & MJ). Shoots the 3, not crazy about his shooting motion and could see issues with that when closely guarded. Handles are not great, plays above the rim, not a crazy athlete but one that probably will get more explosive with legit S & C program. Really intriguing player wherever he goes

5 star SG Isaiah Elohim made an official visit to KU over the weekend. Plays ball with Bronny James at Sierra Canyon. This guy is big time.
This was Isaiah’s first official visit.
That is the loudest gym I have ever been in for sure," Elohim said. “The visit went very well. I like the home court advantage the most. The coaching staff told me the right things and they really want me. They talked about their player development, their winning culture, and what I am going to be when I am there.”
With a visit to Lawrence under his belt, Elohim says he is considering Arkansas, Baylor, and UCLA for official visits.

Recap of Marcus Adams visit. Michael Swain reports:
He said he really, really enjoyed it. The game was his favorite part and he’s never been in an arena that loud. He likes KU’s playing style and the coaches told him he’d fit the Gradey Dick or Jalen Wilson role at KU. Gradey Dick was also his host and said he got along really well with the current players. He liked Lawrence, the coaches and the atmosphere around the program.
Big picture, one interesting thing he said is that he wants to announce a top three soon and commit before summer grassroots basketball starts. He said he for sure wants to visit UCLA. It sounded like KU and UCLA are for sure in his top group. The third school could come from Syracuse (where he visited), Texas, Arkansas or Indiana.
