If we go to the portal for a big that will be telling. Though with Reid I don’t really see the fit. It would need to be a proven strong player. Preferably a grad transfer but I’m good with what we have tbh.

Iowa St has landed Temple transfer guard Jeremiah Williams. The 6’5 guard from Chicago averaged 9.5 ppg and 4.2 ast per game. Not much of a shooter at this stage but appears to have plenty of size to distribute the ball.

TJ is really reminding me of how Drew got the Baylor program started. Didn’t care about skill so much, but went after athletes. Figured he could make it ugly enough for 40 minutes with athletes that his team could be in the game at the end…

Yup they also got the Georgetown transfer big that was supposed to be their best player but he ended up not qualifying for them, odd situation and now has been at Iowa St half a semester. So far it appears to be two quality additions for them. If Hunter sticks around they got pieces

Definitely not for us. Only big the staff should even think about adding is an absolute stud, but I’m good with riding with our young guys next year. It will feel like a free roll if we win this one tonight…
