Baylor is shooting 18 % in the 1st half – Down 28-11 to Okie State
-
Baylor held to 22 points without an 0-20 stretch to close their half… OSU is scrappy
-
I wouldn’t exactly call Santa Clara decent…maybe mediocre. They did beat TCU earlier this year.
As I mentioned the other day, the WCC is no slouch this season. San Francisco, St. Mary’s and BYU are all ranked higher in KenPom than Oklahoma State, West Virginia and a bunch of other teams from majors. The problem is a few boat-anchor schools in the conference that haven’t had good teams in decades.
-
TCU and OU are setting basketball back a few decades. 50-48 TCU with 13 seconds left.
-
TCU blew a coverage on an in-bounds under the OU basket to give OU an uncontested basket to tie the game with 0.2 left to send the game to OT tied at 50.
-
Baylor missed twenty straight shots? That sounds familiar.

hmm ya where have I seen and or heard that before
-
TCU goes to 12- - -2 beats Oklahoma 59-58 in OT
-
TCU beat OU by 1 in OT in an abomination of an offensive performance by both teams.
-
We can beat Kentucky if…? Fill in the blank.
-
Jesus Christ, everyone thinks that I was knocking MLK? Far from the truth. But I stand by what I said.

for sure - - - Right
-
@jayballer67 it’s not going to happen.
-
Apparently officials tried really hard to help msu in the last seconds today but they didn’t of course.
-

And were more likely then not going to repeat today and we WILL get beat by Kentucky
-
@jayballer67 I disagree. If we started Remy, we’d get beat by Kentucky

-
OSU choking.
-

They don’t run any semblance of an offense. Just random iso ball. Not a fan.
-
@BShark the clock is your friend
-
Watching most other teams makes me even more grateful for Self.
-
Good for Bryce
-
Wow!
-
Bryce Thompson about to win the game for Okie St 4 clutch free throws and then steal and end it with a flush at the end oft the game - OKIE WINS AT BAYLOR
-
Bryce Thompson player of the game for Okie State 19 points
-
Is it just me or does Bryce look like a different player? I remember him having kind of an awkward bent over look with the ball and a hitch in his shot. Saw neither of those things in the short amount I watched at the end of that Baylor game.
-
@benshawks08 this is by far his best game! He still has those Same things.
-
So are we in first?

He was in his own head last year. That said, he has been pretty not great this year, barring today obviously.
-

By half a game. We are 3-1.
TCU also with just one loss but only 2 wins. Big group at 3-2.

So a 2 minute sample of his best game isn’t a representative sample? Hmm… I only believe what I see! Lol.

KU is now a 1/2 game up on TCU for 1st place in the Big 12 and Baylor is the first ever AP #1 to lose two home games in a week.

dang didn’t realize that. They gonna take a hit in the polls that’s for sure
-
Wild day in college Bball. Every game in the B12 a slog. No undefeated teams remaining. Only a couple of one loss teams, and one of them, Auburn, is down double digits in the 1st half. No dominant teams.
-
Here’s a good one. Memphis blows a 10 point lead with 2 minutes left:
Memphis led East Carolina 70-60 with just over two minutes remaining and appeared destined for a bounce-back victory after losing at UCF on Wednesday. Then, the Tigers collapsed in truly catastrophic fashion as ECU finished the game on a 12-1 run capped by a game-winner at the buzzer from Brandon Suggs. The Tigers (9-7, 3-3 AAC) began the season ranked No. 12 and briefly rose to No. 9 following a 5-0 start. Since then, it’s been one reality check after the other for coach Penny Hardaway and a program that has nothing to show for landing the nation’s No. 1 recruiting classes in both 2019 and 2021.
Building an at-large NCAA Tournament resume won’t be easy for Memphis at this point since the AAC offers few chances to pick up quality wins. Reaching 20 wins for a fifth straight season seems like a more reasonable goal for Memphis than reaching the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2014.
-
@Jethro amazing
-
That used to be a strong program, even before Calipari went there. Seems like I remember them in the 80s going to the tournament pretty much every year. That Penny wasn’t ready for primetime isn’t even in question at this point, is it? With the talent they have and have had?
-
Just out of pure curiousity guys - - wondering WHY Baylor & West Virginia is playing their game at 4 today on a week day Anyone know ?
