But what a heck of a career. I went through a real period where I hated the mans guts for leaving us dirty the way he did. I got over it and happy to see him leave on his own terms. Happy retirement Roy, the game is losing a legend

Met him in Lawrence when I was a little kid. He shook my hand and said “Nice to meet you, young man.” Was never really mad at him for leaving us for UNC. I always appreciated the style of basketball he coached; get out and run, let athletes be athletes and play basketball. Not this bullshit slow the game down and take charges approach that we see with some teams. Hope he has a pleasant retirement.

Gotta believe Jared Haase is a candidate. But maybe they want a younger guy to take it over?

Hmmm I had heard rumor of this like a week or so ago , some said he not retiring - -but doesn’t surprise me. - - -Well now wonder how his retirement might effect Adoo, might of improved our chances maybe since people thought that was where he was going to land. - - Wonder now how many more players will transfer

Jerry Stackhouse getting a lot of buzz at the moment. Won’t be Haase, he didn’t go to UNC.

I’d love to see Roy come back to KU for some type of special tribute next season so the KU faithful to honor him as well.

I don’t think Jared Haase will leave Stanford unless he is fired. He is a California kid so he may be basically at his dream job already. I honestly would be somewhat upset if we looked at him when Bill left because what has he done at Stanford? He hasn’t made the tourney yet while there.

Promoting Steve Robinson would be like Bill Guthridge taking over after Dean Smith.

A lot of talk how the Fans want Wes Miller to just promote, guess he is a really well like up and coming Coach under the age of 40. - - ONE thing that no NC fan wants sounds like is for Hubert Davis to become the next head Coach - -a lot of the fans afraid he will get the job - -but they want Miller
