I like going small tbh. Texas is big, but their bigs probably aren’t good enough to bury us with scoring. I mean Sims only averages 8 points per game on the season.
In Lawrence, we had trouble penetrating on offense and rotating on defense because Texas’ guards were so quick. Going small seems to have helped that some. Texas has also missed some open looks, but we look faster.
Bryce has been able to create a bit which is nice.
Noticed not many turnovers for KU. I believe just 4.
ya taking pretty good care of the ball just hope trend continues

@BShark Seems obvious to everyone but Bill. To be fair, Texas should be using their bigs better than they are.

Iowa St didn’t want it. They got hosed on a few calls but generally they just didn’t have a guy that could step up and make a shot.

Over/under on how many shots big Dave takes in the 2nd half is set at 12.5. When he only makes 4 and Sims takes advantage of him on the other end…I have a bad feeling this game is gonna get close.

The combined verticals of Dave and jalen I’m not sure would make for an impressive number. Not sure how jalen is such a good rebounder considering.
