@BShark My thing with that is make fun of Denver all you want, but leave Kendall Hinton alone.
-
We suck even when we have our 1st-string QB so it’s fine lol

Well. Good practice for the tourney I guess
-
39 % field go shooting and 4-15 from the 3 isn’t going to get it done against better teams - - what like 27 % ? – is that right ?
-
-
Missed a lot of lay-ups and open threes today. 3 games in 5 days not helping but you still gotta make more than that.

hopefully that is he really bad game this year
-
2500 fans in the stands on Tuesday. RC
-
@BShark isn’t it 3 days?
-
@Crimsonorblue22 Yes
-
Garrett couldn’t even run anymore by the end of the game. They really need to just rest tomorrow.

By how many points will we to lose to Creighton?
We’re not losing that one. Today was mostly KU looking ahead to that one with some fatigue from 3 games in 5 days mixed in.
-
Hoping Garrett just sleeps until Tuesday tbh.

@wissox Crocheting. It’s relaxing! My wife does it. I should try!

He needs to step up

Maybe I’m just feeling a letdown from not having Dok this year, but what the hell is going on with recruiting baseline players? BMac only played 13 minutes yesterday and Lightfoot played 4. Losing DeSousa shouldn’t have been totally unexpected, so why hasn’t KU brought in more baseline players? 5 guards isn’t our path to a final four appearance.

Marcus and Harris can’t play together if they both can’t score.
I have been thinking the same thing for several games now, and Harris should start at point. So that being said, with the current roster and makeup of the team Garrett needs to come off the bench. Ofcourse, that is not going to happen.

Exactly. same thoughts here, but that’s assuming Marcus isn’t just under the weather. If he returns to elite defensive form and is at least an average scorer (which he clearly was not against NDSt.) then I think they can start together. But, it’s a lineup with a bit of a scoring deficiency, that seems to be plus everywhere else.
I think Marcus’ minutes could be decreased and should be as the season wears on, 37 last game is not sustainable.
-
The Defensive poy? He’ll be fine. Play them both, Harris needs to be a scorer too when we are behind. We are getting more options.
-
@Crimsonorblue22 Harris does not need to score, because he makes everyone that he is playing with better.
-
Eventually Harris will need to score at least somewhat. If he is unwilling to do so he becomes much easier to defend, even with his skill set.
-
PER’s after the woeful NDSU game. Going to need a complete 180 result from here to beat Creighton
-
Crowd will help! Rest will help. As long as nobody has covid!

@BeddieKU23 Lightfoots numbers agree with my take on his, what was it, 3 minutes? I was a bit surprised he didn’t get more time as he seemed to do better than most in his short stint.
I am not lobbying for a steady dose of Mitch but if he is doing well and few others are why not let him roll? Self playing for the future perhaps?
-
I think they have finals this week too.
-
Short doses of Mitch are the best remedy
