Baylor should have clearly been preseason #1.
However since we play Zags game 1 it becomes a feather in the cap for this team to knock them off

I agree. They are only separated by 1 point in the poll, though. So basically a tie.

Ha Iowa, what a joke. They’ll be good, but what ever talent they have gets negated by the other Fran I dislike. They have almost a worse basketball resume than the state they share a border with misery. 1979 conference champ (their last) which is impressive actually as that was Magic’s championship season at MSU. FF in 1980 and a couple in the 50’s That’s it.
Of course maybe this poll accidentally posted here was the wrestling poll. Then Iowa deserves to be highly ranked.

NEVER have liked Iowa , don’t ask me why , maybe the Coach just something about them rubs me wrong

@BeddieKU23 @jayballer67 I’m not sure if you can tell, but I really, as a matter of policy, hate Iowa. Yes Garza’s the headliner and they get some love because of him, but that team folded last year with basically all the same guys going this year. They got blasted by Depaul last year that should tell you something.

Last season, Iowa was 5th in offensive efficiency and 97th in defensive efficiency. Their defense has to get better if they want to be an elite team this season.

KU has 12 of 27 games against preseason top 20 teams and 4 of 9 non-conference games against preseason top 12 teams.
That’s a pretty stacked schedule.

Also just saw KU added Washburn as the final non-conference game on Dec. 3.

Iowa returns most everyone from a team that finished a game out of 10th place in the BIG.

Don’t hold your breath for a complete season. The way the Governor was talking during her conference just now Basketball was brought up. They were talking assuming about High Schools but if the virus is bad enough which it is - -getting really insane all ICU beds now full in Wichita at both hospitals but anyways talking and saying we got lucky with outdoor sports but now we are dealing with indoors. - -Saying we might have to find a different way to shoot a 3 pointer.
All these States spiking really big I would be willing to bet were going to see Cancellations and or inneruptions and if it doesn’t improve as there are Schools now talking about total remote/on line again we are going to end up losing our season to this crap - - AGAIN

Tristan Clark of Baylor has retired from Basketball. Will be interesting to see who takes his place

Wins a win… nobody looked to see Coppin St was ranked 300 something in kenpom. Surprised KU kept at 7, its not like we set the world on fire
