Rebounding has been a glaring issue all season despite having the size and athleticism to be an elite rebounding team. We refused to address it and it ended up costing us our season.

All of my good thoughts about this teams potential is gone. From beating Zona to this. 2 Saturday beatdowns and a game Monday against future national champ Houston. Another beatdown coming against Zona. Ugh, nothing good to say today. I should just shut up.

Now the committee knows what kind of matchup to serve us.

One of those games where the whole team just had a bad game.
Council can’t keep chucking shots at the rim. 7 points on 13 shots is not going to be okay routinely. Got away with it versus Arizona.
Elmarko was awful.
McDowell was bad.
Tiller was a non factor.
White was meh.
DP should touch the ball almost every possession, but we chuck up bad shots before he touches it a lot.
Hopefully a wake up call. Need a big win Monday to stay in the double bye for the conference tourney. And going to need to finish strong to stay on the 3 or better line.

Tiller is just a total non presence on the boards. Lack of shooting outside of DP(and he shot like shit too today) was really exposed today. I do feel like a lot of things lined up against us. Horrendous shooting, they were on fire and got every bounce, and our effort was terrible.

We can say it was a bad game, but we have to really look at the second half and figure out how the wheels came off.
I would say it was a below average first half and a catastrophically bad second half.

Just when you thought this team had turned a corner winning 9 of 10. We have one season since 2018 making the second weekend. One of the saddest stats for KUBB, we have to start putting some pride on the glass 40-29 and yet another game giving up 15 offensive rebounds. That will kill this team in March. I’ve been saying much of this year. Two skilled big men equal trouble. Flory and Tiller are improving but they got schooled and schooled hard today

I'm concerned that we are so deflated from this that we won't have the energy to beat Houston.
Thus the downhill slide. -

They started pressing and forcing a lot of bad and quick shots once Cincy went on their run to try and close the gap at once and it didn't work obviously and just made the gap worse.

Also, I think our record must be something like 50% or less in CBS games starting at noon on Saturday.

@Tallturd1 DP had 7 points and 1 rebound in the second all while taking some very stupid shots. Flory was good offensively but he gave up more than scored. It was a team loss by not shooting well or rebounding.

Been praising elmarko a lot but he had a run on his own that basically tanked this game

Embarrassing exhibition by one and all. Team never got in sync with all the substitutions. No one took over and when we were within tieing Elmarko wasn't who we needed to try to score. Better shoot better Monday. It could be uglier than the way we just finished.
