Been there a few times, it’s built on the side of a plane moving up to the Wasatch range. So the plane is flat but tilted. Beautiful location. Capitol building is spectacular.

@approxinfinity Yes 96 olympics there and another coming up in the next decade or so. We stayed up in Park City last year. Pretty cool place. My son goes skiing a lot up there.

@approxinfinity Suburbs do more. My son is pretty progressive and he knew there was that culture there which attracted him. We walked around the whole Mormon area, the temple/tabernacle and it was very strange. One young woman smiled at me like, hey, we believe in polygamy here you want another wife? LOL

LOL. Yes. I’ve stayed in SLC 5 times in the last 15 years. It’s not bad now. Was a little weird with the liquor laws/bars/breweries before, but they’ve relaxed a bit recently.
