The lazy, lack-of-focus type turnovers are really frustrating. Maybe we should get LL in at practice to help with those concentration mistakes.

14 points from bench so far. Just 2 points from the starters at the 1 and 2 spots. No FGA from Elmarko. We simply can’t afford to have 2 starters not looking to score…

KJ is our leading scorer so far. He also has the most rebounds for the team.
We are still shooting 68% and 43% from the 3.

We had a pretty bad combo of guys out there the last 4 minutes (KJ, Braun, ElMarko, Juando and Invisible Kev), plus made some boneheaded plays.
I kind of like that Self just let them suffer.

I still think ElMarko is a step up from whoever that backup PG guy we had last year who kept dribbling off his foot. Pettiford? BUT, COME ON, ELMARKO. LET’S GO.

Remember when UCF nearly knocked Duke out of the NCAA tournament a few years ago? Came really close, twice, should have won. They had some freakishly tall player. Not athletic, but nearly 8 feet tall.

I also took my kids there to see the Harlem Globetrotters, when Mike Lee played for them. Screamed for him when he was introduced as a starter and they said he played at KU. It was a small afternoon crowd, pretty quiet, and my kids were embarrassed. But Mike pointed at me and gave me a big smile. That was fun. My kids might disagree.
