probably true. I’m not to sure they to patient though and the losses they have had - -are really bad losses considering who they lost to. However look at North Carolina - -they are not actually off to a roaring start either all things considered

Tar Heels are not selling out the Dean Dome. Interesting. Really kind of dumb stadium design I think. Build it for 16,300, pack em in and create sold out atmosphere every game.
I just checked and Kentucky doesn’t sell out their huge arena either. So much for blue blood status.

@wissox the Dean Dome is such a bad place to see a game. The footprint is HUGE, unlike AFH where you’re on top of each other. You can barely even see the player numbers from the top level.

Really wish we got Hunter. He, Juan, Kevin would have been just nasty defensively (not that we aren’t already)

@FarmerJayhawk That’s what it looks like on TV. I’m not familiar with too many arenas but one I am is in Madison and while capacity is pretty high, the seats rise straight up from the court essentially and so even back row corners are not terrible.
By contrast the United Center in Chicago has like you said a large footprint and denizens of the back rows feel pretty isolated.

Also - I think you or @BShark were high on UK when fully healthy but even last night how they just roll it out there and to play along with wheeler are why I’m not convinced.
Duke I think will be better than them
Texas looks nasty. Two nba level guards, mitchell is a 6-8 stud (wish we had him or a player like him at rhe 4 - think Josh Jackson), then just long athletic bigs with experience.
Their guards are gonna be a problem and so far looks like they are getting along
