that FG was an absolute no brainer. totally changed the game with the failure to score. momentum gone, give to Cincy.

Not at all I actually wanted KC to win whether you believe it or not - - not that I care if you do, what I do care about is I’m tired of People here that when others speak what they think about things getting told to go away cause your feelings got hurt or people saying that I don’t know what I’m talking about cause don’t agree and kiss Crimson and Blue butt or red and gold butt - -Again KC blew this game plain and simple if not please explain why they lost. they had everything at their disposal until Pat decided to get loose with the football.- -Sorry I’m not going anywhere. - I still am huge KU and I like KC. - Not my # 1 team but I still pull for them 98 % of the time sorry

Geez, everyone, it is just a game. No need for fratricide in the Kingdom.
Yeah, the Chiefs blew it, but I disagree about Cincy–they took advantage of the chances KC gave them. That is a spectacular QB and receiving corps, and should be respected. They didn’t stop trying, and that is why we lost.
What is often forgotten is that the sun still rose the day after Mighty Casey struck out.

@rockchalkjayhawk I don’t think it was a no brainer. It was like Mahomes brain left his body right at that moment though, and didn’t come back for the rest of the game.
That play should get called, and if they hate the look the ball should just be thrown out of bounds. 5 seconds is plenty of time to see if you get something you like. Not sure what went through Pat’s head.
Not sure what happened on the INT either. He couldn’t have thrown the ball more directly at the guy. Then there were a few JUST out of reach passes combined with a few drops. Didn’t even feel like the Cincy D beat them.

Yes, agreed @Kcmatt7 . I meant to convey an eventual field goal should have been attainable if the pass play wasn’t developing. I shouldn’t type when angry!

I grew up watching the Chiefs. Started when Hank Stram was coach… Dawson, Otis Taylor, etc. I watched when we ran the Wing T. I watched years of losing. As bad as this loss is, the Chiefs will be just fine. Next year the Chiefs will be favored to win it all again, and probably will. I’m down here in Houston, and I take my autistic son to several Texans games every year. Talk about a s*** show. So, it definitely can always be worse, folks.

Not taking anything away from Bengals, Chiefs just choked.
I think that coaching staff blew this game away, that play right before halftime was the turning point.
