My condolences to Bill and his family. His father was a strong figure and no doubt shaped Bill and his coaching. I’m sure his loss will also impact Bill as his life moves forward. I went through this last summer and it had a profound impact on me and my life since then. Perspective grows and priorities change.

Lucky. No seriously bud I mean these guys had been playing better just got through beating two top 25’s and playing us at home and we had been playing so inconsistent, and the way they rank in the Nation defending the 3 - -top 5 - just felt it was gonna be a close game - - got lucky lol

This is probably the best the Big 12 has ever been top to bottom. Every team is currently ranked in the top 56 of Kenpom and top 63 of the NET rankings (9 of 10 in the top 48).
In terms of an NCAA resume, every road win is a quad 1 win, only KSU wouldn’t be a quad 1 game on a neutral floor and half the league is quad 1 at home. Depending on the team, 13 or 14 Big 12 games this year will be quad 1 games for teams. There’s literally not a bad loss to be had in conference this year from an NCAA resume perspective. This team is struggling right now, but still finding ways to win on the road against quality competition as KU is 3-1 on the road already through 6 games so there should be zero questions about the toughness of this team as a whole.
