Gameday in Waco. Really weird that the game will start after the show ends.

Saturday will mark the first time in 62 years that KU plays at the #1 team in the country. Last time was March 8, 1958 at K-State (Ahearn Fieldhouse), KU beat Kansas St.
Looking back, that is actually the only time in the AP poll era (since 1948-49 season) that KU has played at the #1 team in the country.
Will be interesting to monitor MaCio Teague’s health. He didn’t play in their beatdown of West Virginia because of a right wrist injury. Have seen little insider stuff on how severe that one is.
Time for some sweet revenge!

The reason?
Their fans don’t know how to be #1 fans. Their coach doesn’t know how to be a #1 coach.
Pressure will beat them.

We (the fans) don’t have to be focused on tonight’s game because we aren’t playing. Realistically though, KU could bring their D game tonight and still win comfortably since ISU doesn’t have Haliburton anymore.

You don’t think that Iowa St. won’t have some momentum after blowing out Texas? I know this team is showing tremendous progress in so many areas, and I too have confidence we’ll win. However, too often we have seen huge favorites not prepared mentally.

@COHawk Garrett will he tuned in. The rest of the the team??? Hard to say on any given night. This team is fairly focused though; I don’t expect too big of a let down

It’s almost as if you can see that focus become stronger when needed in a game, especially after they have lost that focus for a few minutes and the other team really takes advantage of us.

This team seems to be acquiring the belief that they have another gear when it’s called for.

ISU hasn’t won a true road game this year and only has 1 win away from Hilton (in Battle 4 Atlantis) this season. ISU may keep it close for awhile, but KU will win comfortably even with their D game tonight which is what I’m expecting tonight.
