The crowd is always asleep in the sprint center. Some of it today could be blamed on the opposition.

Holy crap, I didn’t realize Dave only played 17 minutes. 28 points in less than half the game! Even more impressive.

@tundrahok Yep. 11 minutes first half then 6 minutes pretty much to start the second half. Then Self said screw it all and rightfully started trying crazy line-ups and getting our really young guys pt.
@approxinfinity I think Jank might be a better candidate for that.

I couldn’t agree more. -I hate these sprint games. - -It is just always SOOOO dam dead. - -The atmosphere is like a Opera attendance. - -we score /do something like the reverse slam from doke - -like it was like a closing act on broadway = or a opera finish - -nice polite applause. - I hate it - -Cancel this crap.

Great time. Obviously need to go to Allen for the “full experience” but for my first game I was extremely happy with it. Kid sitting in front of me probably 18 or so didnt watch 3 minutes of the game, sat their Instagraming and texting. Had the nerve to wear a KU hat and shirt but you would never know he was actually a fan. I live so far from KU so I would never take for granted the opportunity to see them.
Dave was amazing. Game of his life.
Dotson is as fast as he appears on tv. Wow what a blur.
Ochai really didnt bring it today. He has all the tools. Didnt shoot well in pregame.
Moss has a great shot, no wonder he makes em.
Doke is just a large human. Loved seeing him up close before the game.
Marcus is such a savy defender. Always moving those feet.
Silvio is a while away but I hope he sticks around.

ya, I couldn’t actually believe how huge Doke was when I was right up by him in person. - -I mean I know he was big - - but dam when they were leaving the Airport here in Topeka to head out to the NCAA tourney we was there to see them off. - -doke comes through and just WOW

@BeddieKU23 night and day difference between sprint center and Allen. Allen is really night and day different from a non conference game like Milwaukee to a high profile conference game like Tech, KSU or something. My first game was 09 vs Texas on senior day for the big 12 title out right. Still is the best game experience for me at Allen because we came back late and won. My ears rang all the way home that night. If I remember right we kept getting it down to 2 or 3, then they’d stretch it back out to 8. We got it back to 2 with a couple minutes to go, Sherron got a steal and Brady hit a 3 to give us our first since early on and the place went completely bananas. Texas who was good back then had no idea what the hell hit them. I hope you had a good time, I can’t wait til my boy is ready to go to a game with me.

Dave with a huge jump from his Career Game. He was simply terrific.
Doke & Devon holding steady at their high level of play.
Silvio’s extended minutes gave him a boost.
Braun had good activity but struggled shooting the ball.
Tristan was not good. Been forcing the action for several games now

The Sprint Center game felt like an NBA game. Just seeing countless games in Allen on TV I could tell the difference. The opponent wasn’t any good either which I don’t think helped the activity level of the fans. Everyone knew this was a blowout in the making. I will definitely be going back next year for a game in Allen where I’ll be able to compare how different the two are. Bummed I won’t see this years squad in Allen because I do think this is a fun squad to watch
