@Texas-Hawk-10 that was a weak call, he was in bounds and it wasnt to the head or neck. That’s a good hit if OU does. It sure hell was not a late hit outta bounds.

I never argued the late hit out of bounds was the right call, just that Lee was lucky he didn’t get called for targeting because he lowered his head to make that hit.

If that was our QB and someone did that, we’d probably want some protection too.
I don’t fault Lee though. It was a football play.

@bskeet which is BS, if you run your QB it’s a risk that he gets smoked. Period. Not that it matters but the refs wont let us hang in this. OU is the conferences only hope to make the playoffs.

@Crimsonorblue22 He does and he’s been called multiple times throughout his career for targeting. The bigger issue though that habit is going to result in him not getting up after one of those hits.

We miss so many lil things that hurt us. A catch on 4th down, lee a pic should’ve been 6, a really bad sideline call that killed us, then a stupid face mask, that gave them a Td w/secs left.

our Dam DB’S can’t catch the ball – happened before at least in one other game right? - - like 3 chances then too - -mercy they need some pass catching drills

this opening possession by OU to open the 2nd half will go a longs ways in determining if this stays some what competitive OR - - TURNS INTO A ROUT
