Chiefs!

  • @Kcmatt7 probably because instead of starting for the Chiefs (admittedly a dumpster fire at the time) he chose to be a backup in Dallas. But I didn’t bring him up and actually wanted him back for another year in KC. It would’ve been better than what they got.

  • @Kcmatt7 I’m pretty okay with lumping every QB between Green and Mahomes together. And obviously Mahomes is on another planet compared to Green but Green was good.

    He did his job perfectly.

He played well enough that he got Romeo hired. Caused them to be so bad next year that we got Romeo fired and were able to go get Andy. (Also we landed Kelce in that 2013 draft with Fisher).

Think about that for a second @BShark

Also Alex Smith was good here. Andy was a big reason, but Alex was good.

  • After watching all the wildly incompetent quarterback play for years, Alex was a breath of fresh air. Mahomes is transcendent though.

  • Even though Green Bay is my favorite - - guys I’m telling you I love watching the Chiefs play - - boy they got some weapons.

A Bunch of BS - -watching them against Jacksonville and the dam station pulls the game - -that’s a crook of C - - - . - - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

  • Easy win with a limping Mahomes and no Hill. Rest up lads.

  • @jayballer73 It wasn’t pulled. The CBS production truck lost power. NFL Network Redzone explained that no broadcast feed was coming from Jax, so they didn’t have any highlights in the last few mins of the 4th quarter.

  • Tyreek update: Trainer says his shoulder injury led to a problem in his sternum. In the hospital getting treated by an “ortho trauma” physician. Chiefs to update in a day or so.

Full larger update on this. Basically it could be quite bad but doesn’t look like it should be so far.

well what the announcers said when they switched on our local channel - they said let’s go to a more competitive game , on our local station channel 13 what ever affilation that is - - ABC - – NBC - - CBS - -whatever one that is - they didn’t say anything about losing power - - just said they were switching to a more competitive game

  • @mayjay is right! CBS lost power🤯

  • @jayballer73 They may have simply assumed when their network feed got switched because of the power problem.

exactly what I was talking about

  • @jayballer73 Yeah they said initially the line about the competitive game but then quickly corrected it.

Got ya guy - -not trying to kick any dirt just saying - -I shut it off - -thanks for letting me know

  • Let’s score a few more td’s and get the heck out of there before someone gets killed! 🤬

  • Great D! Get out of there!

  • Rumor is an NFC and an AFC team reached out to the Jags about Ramsey. The NFC team (not sure who) offered a 1st and a 5th round pick. The AFC team (I believe to be the Chiefs Shelborn would be a terrible poker player) offered a first round pick and a player. The offers were declined and countered with two first round picks. I wonder if someone will step up and pay the price or if the Chiefs can continue to bolster their secondary? Can they make the money work with Mahomes due for a pay raise soon or would be be a rental?

  • At least the Chiefs didn’t sign AB. Dodged that bullet. 789B4770-AF96-46A2-B433-CC2D1AA32BDA.jpeg

    Fake news, but funny.

  • Chiefs! Gonna be a tough game. Mahomes getting pounded!

  • Dang nice catch! Keep going for it on 4th! Like the field position.

  • Wow, lotta chiefs fans here today? Speed and mahomes!

  • Great game so far. Love the defensive gameplan.

  • Mahomes is going to be sore! Harbaugh is not good at math

He didn’t want overtime. He got his wish.

  • @BShark All Chiefs fans should sign a thank you card and send it to Harbaugh. He was more valuable to us today than Mahomes was.

  • Both Harbaughs may be in the job hunt this off season.

I’m not sold on McCoy just yet myself. He’s had some good seasons but hasn’t averaged over 4 yards per carry in a couple years. Last year was a career worst for him at 3.2.

That’s about all they need from McCoy. He’s a legit threat to run and that’s all they need to freeze the LBs with play action. Damien Williams should be back in the near future.

Everyone knew replacing Kareem Hunt was not going to be easy. Chiefs HAD 5 RBs when the season began. A very solid run by committee was decimated (current definition).

  • D is helping us🌟Jones! Go mahomes and Reid!⏱

  • Crap

Tough game against an undefeated team at their place.

  • @BShark fumbleruskis ugh. Is there a correct way to spell that?🤣

  • Honey badger!

  • Whew that was to close! Mahomes was a lil off today. Stafford is good. Fumbles killed us, but we did score a td off of theirs😳🤣💥

  • The chiefs gotta feel both lucky and good after that one. Mahomes having an off day while still completing 57% of his throws and getting 300 plus yards speaks to the type of player he is, throw in 50 yards rushing. It’s hard to be too discouraged with that. I wonder if the Dome threw him off, supposedly that was the first time he had played in one. Interesting that the lions had one safety back 25 yards pretty much the whole game to prevent getting beat deep. But I think it gave Kelce a good amount of room to work with. Hold on to the football and make a FG it’s probably a 13 - 17 point win. I know it 4 weeks in but the defense still looks shaky to me and will be the down fall of this team if huge strides ain’t made sooner rather than later. The other issue was how much pressure the lions created with a 3 man rush that had 5 guys blocking most the time. I realize they have some guys hurt but that shouldn’t at this level repeatedly.

  • @kjayhawks they just said it wasn’t the first time he’s played in a dome on the news tonight. Detroit is known for causing to’s. Lucky to get the Td from their to! Mahomes had some nice runs and thank heavens Pringle held on! Looks like Hill is about ready?⚡️Love the hook n ladder from Kelce!🍻

  • Ugh! 🤮

  • That game is why the chiefs can’t be in the superbowl. That was pathetic on all fronts. Kelce looked a high schooler and a dozen penalties were killer.

  • kjayhawks said:

I’ve said it’s going to be their Defense that kills them - -they couldn’t stop a cold against a team that runs the ball. - -Lucky for them not a lot of teams that run the ball anymore that much - -we saw the result when you come up against a team that does

  • Andy Reid also still has his issues with clock management that have not been taken care of. He mismanaged the last two minutes in Detroit last week in the first half, losing a chance to try for a TD, then mismanaged the last 3 minutes of the game last night (including that disaster of a run call on 4th and 1).

Reid is a brilliant offensive coach, but he does not handle decisions under stress well at all. We have seen this time and again, and I would not be surprised if we saw it again in January. He has helped Mahomes develop, but I question whether Mahomes can achieve his full potential with a coach like Reid.

  • Chiefsssss! What a catch.

  • Reek back hell yeah

  • Somebody better wire the Chiefs and someone tell them how to defend the run. - -Got that ass tore up last week by the run - -just ran it right at them - -and now again this week can’t stop a runny nose pathetic 4-5-6 yards a carry best wake up

  • The chiefs are wasting Mahomes’ prime years with a piss poor offense line and a laughable defense. The fact that these guys are making millions and are that ungodly terrible is hard to grasp. The honey badger was a big waste of money. Dude can hit but couldn’t cover a guy in a wheel chair.

  • Also the amount of penalties reflects on the lack of coaching and accountability. The same stuff that ran Reid outta Philadelphia.

  • Can we get our old Defensive Coordinator back? ( Who thought those words would ever be “spoken”? )

  • kjayhawks said:

It’s called being undisciplined. they need to get this stopped , I believe it’s like the 3r4d time they have had at least 11 penalties .

However I was watching the Cowboys/Jets game and in the final minutes on One drive by the Cowboys - I count there was SIX straight flags on consectutive plays - - SIX - -from pass interference - -to holding - -and then players were bitching about the one where they thought there should of been one on Dallas 2 point conversion attempt that would of sent it into over time that WASN’T called -SIX straight flags - -that’s not football - - that’s a joke.

  • @jayballer73 I personally think there have been far to many weak penalties this season as a whole. Then they miss obvious PIs and dont overturn them. Complete waste of time to review something that they wont change.
