I don’t know that the team is quitting. Auburn just looks better and they’re making shots. Dedric is the only one that looks like he may have given up. Devon is trying, Grimes is trying, DMac and Mitch are trying. Garrett looks dead but he’s at least giving it a go. Ochai looks afraid of his own shadow.

Hell, we can’t .even beat a football school. So much for the B12 this year. Let’s hope TT can maintain some B12 relevance, KU sure as hell decided not to represent.

Despite the circumstance, I think it’s been entertaining. Better than guys trying to hide a bias that’s very obvious.

I guess I wouldn’t say I’m surprised. I did pick this in all my brackets. We have been average this season. But its frustrating because we dont win when we are supposed to and dont we aren’t. We have had the talent for 5 or 6 NCs and pissed away.

Barkeley is just really slow and dumb… Almost like he’s really high or something. Whenever I listen to him I feel like I just got a contact buzz

There was a long stretch in which Self-coached teams were fast, athletic, and very good defensively. Like for a long time we were always in the top 10 defensively. Can we get back to that?

I have to remind myself that Grimes is a freshman. Just a regular 4-year kind of freshman. Good kid. only 18. Chuck just does what he does, and that’s all we can expect from him. Big Dave, Prison Mitch, Dotson, Garrett… all upward bound. The Lawsons…

I think Self was done with this group a long time ago. I think he’s ready to regroup for next year.
We all know one thing, we have some good players, but NBA? Don’t think so.

Exactly. Self has gotten away from the bread and butter that got him up the ladder and to KU.

That’s what I love about this group. They have their biases but they are out in the open. But they are also so knowledgeable and they don’t kiss College B-ball ass.

Let’s hope we can win an appeal with SDS and get him eligible for next year. Their ruling was too harsh. I think this season was enough. But they made sure KU didn’t do one damn thing this year. What’s worse, KU decided not to do one damn thing this year. GEEZ. This is surreal. This is a freakin’ nightmare of a season.

The last two times we were this young, we lost early in the tourney. And the fruits of being so young turned into a Championship and a FF. This sucks. But long term it will be ok.

Last years team was tough as nails. It took a perfect storm to defang this team.

@truehawk93 Next year will not matter if we do not find someone that can shoot the ball. Worst shooting team I have seen like forever. Dotson, Q, Ochai, need to shoot 1000’s of threes everyday starting tomorrow.
