Other Games Tonight

  • Total BS call

  • Travis gets away with that always

  • Talk about bias

  • When your best player couldn’t piss in an ocean that doesnt help

  • And there you have it. Kentucky gets bailed out by a foul call taking away any chance to tie or win.

  • Travis could murder someone and the refs wouldn’t see it

  • Kentucky didn’t even win the game, Wofford just lost it. Fletcher Magee was 4-17 from the field and 0-12 from 3. If he didn’t play Wofford probably would have won. It’s honestly amazing the game was close at the end.

  • Refs really pulled that one out for Kentucky. Time to send them all to pasture and get robots. Most humans, when given the ability to control whether a crowd hates them or not, will use it to not be hated.

  • And it’s true that Wofford shot horribly. I have never seen a tourney team take so many off balance 3s.

  • I just don’t get it. - - I just don’t understand how in the hell Reid Travis can just time after time just back down and then turn and lower his shoulder into the defender and actually bully his way into the guy - -the defender bouncing back from the force of the contact from Travis -driving his shoulder into the defender - -the defender standing trying to hold his position arms straight up and we get NOTHING - just let Travis continue to maul the defender - this isn’t fricken Football - I mean come on Dam - I officiated for 15 plus years – I’m callin that a charge EVERY DAM TIME - --you just can’t allow that to not be called a charge - -just bullshit

  • Kentucky better be thankful McGee couldn’t make a 3 today.

If Kentucky plays Houston, Houston is going to beat Kentucky assuming Washington is still out.

  • Very impressed with LSU’s Tremont Waters. I see we offered him. would have loved to have him on the squad. Moxie!

  • Bill Self writes erotic fan fiction about this Michigan team.

  • Under a pen name of course.

  • Baylor getting blitzed

  • You forget how good Doke was until you remember how bad he punked Ward

  • And worst call of the day goes against Baylor and Vital picking up his 4th on what was either a charge or no call.

  • People (not here) hate on Gonzaga a little bit, but I actually like this Gonzaga team a lot. This team is good. I have them going to the E8 and I kind of regret maybe not having them go farther.

  • @Kcmatt7 It’s hard to feel sorry for Baylor! I turned it on just as he was heading to the bench, so I didn’t see it.

  • @wissox was a bad call! Not sure about that time out either

  • Purdue has made 9 3-pointers in the first half against Nova. This is their karma.

  • Watching Sparty putting it to the Gophers.

  • Purdue taking it to Nova. Glad to see it.

  • Since 2009 Nova has either gone to the Final 4 or lost in the first weekend

I just hate to see a horrible, horrible call change a game. Baylor had all momentum and Vital was dominating. He was literally taken out of the game by the refs.

Now, Drew should have pulled him out before he got it. But it doesn’t excuse a bad call.

AGREE. - How could that NOT of been a charge? – if not a charge - -then he traveled after the contact - -what the hell? -you gotta call SOMETHING. - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

  • Rough night for THE GREAT ONE Jay Wright.

Rough night for our great one too

  • Tennessee escapes Iowa. The SEC has looked good, which is shocking. Tennessee, UK, Auburn and LSU to the sweet 16.

  • LOL, CBS doesn’t want a Duke loss, so Zion can double dribble on a fast break and not have it called. Horrible. Announcers say nothing, they showed the replay and everything but gushed on Zion. This is becoming like pro wrestling.

First time since 2009 I believe that Rick Barnes made it past the weekend. That was damn near the most epic choke job ever.

  • Finish the job Knights!

  • Dammit!

  • Weak box out!

  • Oh boy, the officiating in this game…

  • Duke got away with at least 3 fouls in the final minute

Anyone but Zion and that is a charge.

  • Yep

That last one was not a charge, UCF guy flopped on that one. I’ll agree on some of the other ones, but that last one was a good non call.

  • UCF still had their chances with that missed lob. But if KU gets thoses calls, it’s all over ESPNs and several sports front page. Because its Dook no one will bat an eye.

  • Makes our duke win last year, pretty damn special!

  • Kudos to UCF. That was an exciting game, and strangely they have no one to blame but themselves. The missed lob was the hugest missed lob in NCAA history! A 5 point swing. Better job of boxing out on the missed FT. Of course there’s 15 seconds of play left at that point so if UCF gets the RB, they get fouled, have to make the highest pressure packed FT’s in school history just to make it a 3 point game, so not sure how huge that was.

  • @wissox Barrett pushed off to get that rebound. It wasn’t a coincidence… No call.

  • @ajvan My cousin was saying the same. I missed that. So did the officials, but I didn’t see it because I missed seeing it, 3 officials are paid not to miss it.

  • @ajvan I just watched the replay. No blatant push off on the rebound in my view.

bullshit - -you got to call SOMETHING - you can’t swallow your whistle on that. - -It’s either a charge OR a block. - -you can’t chew on the plastic on your whistle on a play like that - - – one way or another - that just made him look REAL stupid

  • Virginia outs OU and the little 12 is down to Tech in the sweet 16.

Sorry, but that last one was a non call situation. The UCF player flopped trying to draw another charge on Zion since Zion got called for a charge the possession before that. The UCF player flopped on that one and didn’t get the call and put Tacko in a bad spot and that led to Fall fouling out on that play.

There were definitely issues in that game with officiating, but I didn’t see anything to take major issue with in the final minute of the game.

The other play people are crying about is the RJ Barrett offensive rebound off of Zion’s missed FT, that was one of the weakest box outs I’ve ever seen. The UCF player never got into a good box out position and was almost standing vertically which made it very easy to move him. I could’ve gotten that offensive rebound on that box out because of how weak it was.

The refs kept Duke in the game, UCF buckled under pressure when they should have won that game. An easy lay up missed, a flop, not boxing out, two missed shot at the basket all played a bigger role in determining that game than the refs did.

maybe that is why I quit officiating after 15 plus years - - -I promise you that would of been called if it were me officiating that game- – ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY
