I don’t know why everyone is so happy. Yes, Kansas is winning but they’ve looked like garbage guarding the 3-point line for most of the game.

Maybe I’m wrong and it is just a lack of execution? Possible. Or we’ll overcome with superior talent and hall of fame coaching that wins 83% or so of games.
At this point in the season, it is usually lack of execution. That execution has almost always gotten better as the season went along.
This really is nothing new for a Bill Self team.

I’d say not allowing a point for a good 10 minutes is deserving of some praise. Proof this team CAN play D at least.

Villanova last year destroyed everyone. That was one of the best college teams of the modern era. There’s nobody that good this year.

@StLJhawk No, but the 2nd ranked team in the country should beat an unranked team. Games with teams separated by 2 spots in the rankings are a coin-flip.

KU was never in that game last year. Nova shot lights out even when guarded in that game. That first half Nova played was an all time great half any college team has ever played. Villanova was head and shoulders better than everyone else all year last season.
