Go Cats. Go Red Raiders. Great for the conference. Which selfishly adds to KU’s accomplishments in winning the league and league tourney.

Yes I too seem to be rooting a lot for B12 teams in the tourney. Not a conscious decision, just happens.
Yesterday I was at the garden. Rooted for WVU amidst a sea of Villy fans (probably 60-40 Villanova fans there) they built a small lead, then did their classic crumble in the last 8 minutes. Huggy bear cant get over the hump.
And then watched TT beat Purdue- lots of TT fans there actually. Fun!
So yes I probably will root for K-state …

I want to beat Tech a second time and I want to beat KSU for a 4th time. I’d also like some payback against Villanova for 2 years ago.

I see why CSB placed this game on TBS. I checked the tv guide and saw CBS decided to air the ‘Goldbergs’ to receive higher ratings.

@Kcmatt7 Custer had a commit able offer from KSU. Pretty sure he would have been a cat for sure if Martin wasn’t forced out. Jmo on that though.

@KUSTEVE I really did intend to pull for KSU, but then the game started, and they were so tight, and Bruce looked so confused, and those two kids from Overland Park seem like such good dudes, and Sister Jean is so sweet and righteous, and their coach seems like a really cool guy and is a really snappy dresser…It was just so impossible to not root for the God Squad. The game outcome was the complete opposite of what I predicted. I thought the fantasy ride would end and KSU would win by 15+ in a cakewalk to the Final 4. This one will burrrrrnnnnnnn long and slow for all the purple whiners.

I never expect much from the purple kitties and they seldom disappoint. Having said that, congrats to them for a nice ride to the Elite 8 and advancing the conference cause.
