    @BShark Seton Hall … DOWN IN FLAMES…

    COVERED THO

  • Dg’s mom couldn’t come this weekend, glad we held on so she could see him in Omaha. I bet he does have a headache. Their plan was to cut the head of our snake off.

    I think today’s game will be tougher than our S16 game.

    You could very well be right. SHU was very tough.

  • Not our best, but a WIN!

  • We beat a good team. Really proud of the fight our guys displayed. Now if WV, TT, and the Kitties win for the Big 12, and I hit the powerball it will be a great weekend. LOL!!!

  • @Red_Rooster so glad you joined in, we’ve missed you!

  • Our boys have been through the forge of fire this season … what doesn’t kill you only makes you stronger? Right ?? Let’s hope devonte is not worn down - so many brutal minutes.

    We need rest. And let’s hope we haven’t shot our wining streak wad … 5 in a row

    @wissox

    I too think that Delgado is a fine player. He’s just not NBA level. Maybe somebody will give him a look on the off chance. Yet he better get his degree. That’s where he’ll find his real success. Doka with one leg punked him.

  • @Crimsonorblue22 I was over on SLACK site for a while than came over here !! Thanks for allowing to participate !!!

  • Dayum, we rock!

  • DOWN GOES SETON HALL… i’m sorry, i’m relishing, and engorging myself in it. For those who picked Seton hall to win, I am not rubbing it in or anything.

  • Remember when I said Delgado is what I hope McCormack more or less turns into by the time he is done? Everyone more or less good with that?

    @BeddieKU23

  • Officials appearing to try to help east coast SEC team win against a team from the middle of nowhere.

  • @wissox Some odd calls that’s for sure.

  • Just turned it on and saw some strange ones.

  • I got a lot of respect for SHU after listening to their presser.

  • SHU starts about half through. Reporter even gave the kids a tough question and they answered it with respect.

    Desi even touches briefly on how Willard helped him when he was depressed. Just so much heart from these kids.

  • Wow, Beard has used 1 TO only in this pressure packed game. Pretty impressive.

  • This is the type of game the tough big 12 needs to win.

  • Thanks to UMBC’s gift, KState should make it to the sweet 16. WVU could make it 4!

    So what? That’s only relevant to gamblers. KU is still the one playing Clemson/Auburn next Friday and not Seton Hall.

  • Well friends I was able to make the trip down to Wichita for the game. Man that was fun, both games there were very entertaining. Definitely worth just now getting home. Malik Newman was on fire, it was a great experience for my first NCAA tournament game. I thought we played pretty good outside of Mitch. Usually Mitch bust his butt every minute, but most KU fans there were thoroughly irked at him for a serious lack of effort at times on the glass. That was the glaring issue tonight IMO. On to the next one.

  • Appreciate this from Delgado…

    Said Delgado: “You gotta give him credit. He’s a big, big, big guy. Trust me. He’s an unbelievable player. He did a great job with his bad knee.”

  • One of my favorite moments from the game was directly after Delgado scored. Delgado turned after making a basket and should’ve been celebrating, but saw Dok siting at the scorers table and his face went sour. Just seeing Dok ready to check in stressed him out. That is fantastic!

  • But, Dok’s two offensive fouls for misusing his elbow were costly and could have cost us the game. I hope our staff is reminding Dok he was able to score over Delgado and he didn’t need to use the elbow to get off his shot.

    I thought our guards’ entry passes to Dok were spectacular and really showed how our offense runs.

  • @stoptheflop I get the feeling that telling Doke he doesn’t need the elbow might do more harm than good. It seemed that when we went back to Doke after the fouls he was in an altered mindset and looked all out of sorts. Maybe if they have time to practice what he could do against Delgato instead of the elbow, it would be a good post mortem.

  • I think Doke was about 80%, he used his elbows a little too much but at least 2 of Dokes fouls were weak. Doke even said in post game Delgato said on court he flopped. Delgato himself did plenty of hooking and elbowing, it was a super physical game. I thought Seton Hall had several fouls that could’ve or maybe even should been intentional. The one where 22 tackled DG from behind wasn’t not a play on the ball whatsoever (probably would’ve been a fight if that injuried DG, that was a thug play) or when they grabbed DGs jersey. Watching the game live Seton Hall played pretty rough like WV and got away with quite of bit of holding and pushing.
