Frank is killing it on ESPN right now...

  • Frank is running the show the end of the 1st quarter and Sacramento looks smooth!

  • @approxinfinity Thx! Didn’t know it was on.

  • Everyone talking about Fox killing Lonzo head to head last season.

Nobody talking about Frank killing Fox in Lexington last season.

  • @mayjay Frank was killing it, slashing to the basket and finding his teammates repeatedly. Held Lonzo to 2 points, and those when he got screened.

  • Would be nice to see him get minutes alongside Fox. Forget George Hill.

  • Embiid with 28-12 against Portland.

  • In 44 mins combined, PGs Fox and Hill had 10 pts, 4 assists, 7 rebs, and 5 turnovers. +/- combined of -5 in an 11 point victory.

In 26 mins, Frank had 11 pts, 7 assists, 5 rebs, and 2 turnovers. +/- of +17, highest of anyone on either team.

    Frank gets it done.

  • @mayjay Frank is just so tough - -just get’s it done. – -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

  • @mayjay the fact that the others will continue to get PT over FM to me is endemic of why the NBA is often unwatchable much of the time.

  • @Bwag To be fair, Fox is the PG of their future. Right now he is raw, but remember, so was Frank at a comparable experience level (sophomore). The kid is the quickest and fastest, I think, player I have ever seen. He drives with abandon and is agile beyond belief. Frank may play better than him for awhile, but if he doesn’t get injured Fox will supplant him and everyone else in this draft.

I think Hill, however, is a waste of Sac’s investment compared to either.

  • @mayjay fair enough. Still unwatchable to me too often.

  • @Bwag Frank keeps proving himself!

  • I actually watched some NBA last night, solely to watch Mason. Looked great. Loved the spin move at the end of the quarter – didn’t go down, but it was impressive. I’m happy for the OADs too, but I will enjoy Mason’s success more.

  • @Bwag

Fox has off the charts talent and he is just getting his feet wet; keep in mind that he played only one year of college an he is very young and inexperienced while Mason played 4 year and is older and more experienced. I love Mason as much as anyone here but I have to admit that Fox’s ceiling is higher than Mason; will he achieve that ceiling? …who knows.

Your comment reminds me of conversations I have with friends:

Me: Did you watch the xxx-xxx game last night?

Friend: No, the NBA is crap and unwatchable and they play no defense.

Me: How often do you watch NBA games?

Friend: I don’t because the NBA is crap and unwatchable and they play no defense.

Me: If you don’t watch, how do you know the NBA is crap and unwatchable and they play no defense?

Friend: Because everybody knows the NBA is crap and unwatchable and they play no defense.

    Me: Right…

BTW, Fox got the biggest shoe contract of any player in his recruiting class; obviously the shoe companies believe he will be great.

  • @mayjay You said Fox is the quickest you ever seen ? - -Now I will agree very quick - just a question though , have you per chance had the opportunity to see whz his name Tremont Waters the frosh at LSU Ku was recruiting for a bit. - -Mercy you talk quick - watched him yesterday dropped 39 against Marquette pretty damn good. - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

  • @jayballer54

FWIW, Fox is considered by many respected analysts as the fastest player in the NBA…and he has played only a handful of games…

Yeah he has been balling out. KU backed off on this one. I think this is a situation that worked out best for both parties. He wouldn’t have got the shots and minutes his dad he wanted at KU this season.

  • I was fortunate enough to go to the Sixers game last night. Embiid is unreal. What you can’t appreciate is how good his handles are, and yet how good he can be if he can make them just a bit better. He crossed over CJ McCollum last night like a guard. But then he lost his handles on a few other possessions. If he can get that under control he will be a 35-40 ppg player…

On another note, it is hard to describe just how athletic Ben Simmons is. I’m not sure the Sixers believed he could play PG until this season. Have to be regretting the Fultz trade now. Could have drafted two first rounders instead of a hurt Fultz. Could have gotten Tatum and Markennen who would fit perfectly in their system right now instead…

Understand he for sure is quick. - -I think waters is right there - just like greased lighting. - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

  • @BShark Your probably right for sure. Bigger need at LSU - -he looks pretty good. - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

  • @Kcmatt7 Agree. - -I’m telling ya the NBA better look out. If JO , JO , can stay Healthy - Simmons & him are a Lethal Duo - put some of the other pieces they got and they are right there. - -Here is what I say - - I’m putting the rest of the league on notice RIGHT NOW - -the Sixers are coming - -and they are taking no prisoners - -Jo, Jo is a beast. I am so envious of you that would of been epic, you are so lucky. - - ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

  • @JayHawkFanToo understand. I do watch from time to time. Usually switch over to hockey if I’m in the mood for sports. I find it more exciting than NBA.
