  Juiston sounds like a high character kid who has/is overcome a great loss. This is the type of person I find easy to root for regardless of where they go to school. I hope to see him in Crimson and Blue! I wish more of these HS kids would give KU a chance out of the gate. (Not aimed at Juiston) The amount of transfers and the fact that KU is having to look to the Juco ranks is mildly disturbing. I realize it’s the new norm, but I wasn’t overly happy when Pierce left after his Jr. year. I miss teams comprised of very talented 4 year players. Bill’s system allows for more depth each year they run it.

  Isn’t the reason the North Carolina situation became such an issue was because of the NBA? Other states seem to be flying under the radar because nothing significant in the news has happened to bring attention their way. Is that a correct statement?

  @JayHawkFanToo Right … sorry. My “big time” was meaning a top program and you clearly said elite conference. I would think that maybe the head job might be better, particularly with that D-1 asst. job on the resume already. If the D-1 assist job isn’t on the resume already, maybe not.

  @FarNrthJHwk Looks like falling enrollment was the key factor. The article says they were told they needed to get back up to 200 students and they were only around 160. With their financial struggles, I am sure they were struggling to give financial aid and given their location, it’s likely a lot of the students would need aid to go to a private school. It’s unfortunate, honestly, but I would hope some of the teachers go into the local public schools there in Jersey City and continue their work with students. It’s pretty clear from some of the students that they have turned out that these people have a passion for what they do.

  Extra weird case. Hyper weird. Why he didn’t stay at KU = mystery. I will always wonder if he were actually 5-10 years older than claimed. It feels like we don’t know/get all the facts. Sounds like he found an organization that is a good fit though.

  @jaybate-1.0 I have NO pity on those “sheltered” people who cant stand the limelight. Take your KU bball positive cue from Mason, Graham, TRob, Tyshawn, Sherron, Mario, and Cole. The Twins and Withey eventually came around. Josh Jackson with same mentality as Frank. Damn I’m going to miss those 2 alpha personas & producers… Sheltered? What, are we supposed to have–> comfort zones next to AFH, so when Self makes them cry? If thats the case, then womens ku team is tougher than the boys? Weak. Comfort zones are for toddlers, who havent grown a pair yet, right? Stupidest concept ever heard of. Pansies.

  Wow, I was last before the final and moved up to third from last. Not sure how that happened! See I’m pleased because I knew I wouldn’t see my name at the top of the leaderboard so I picked hoping my name would be at the bottom, so I kind of accomplished my goal.

  @Crimsonorblue22 Near it, yes. PIT is a fantastic tournament. high school gym, not a bad seat in the house I’m wondering if Landen will be there. I assume Mason has shown all he needs to show and will not. I met Aaron Miles there the first year I went.
