  Look, as a UNC employee I have a contractual obligation to dump on K and dook at every opportunity. Suffice it to say, this smells like K ducking another tough game. Sad!

  Danny took over that game. He controlled the pace almost by himself… rebounding and then driving it right down the court, sometimes finishing at the rim. I never saw a big man dominate a NCAA playoff game like that.

  @BeddieKU23 Everyone’s been super hyped about the freshmen too. For a while, before the big dogs got their guys it was the top ranked class out there. Micah Potter is going to make some HM AA lists I’m guessing by the end of the season. He was coming on incredibly strong at the end of the season. UW was dead in the water last year until Potter was allowed to play at the end of the 1st semester. It took a few games to get in the flow but then they clicked and tied for the BIG.

  @drgnslayr Howard just got his, Jordan’s been some really good teams including right now with Brooklyn so he’ll have a really good shot at getting one next season. Capella had a few good shots in Houston. Drummond is the only one that’s consistently been on bad teams in Detroit and still managed to make multiple All Star Games. None of those guys have ever been considered elite offensive players because none of them are good shooters, but they’re all top end rebounders and defenders which is something Doke has a chance to be as well. Dole’s never going to be a good shooter, but as long as he can finish lobs and keep finishing when close to the basket on top of rebounding and his defense, he’ll have a long NBA career.

  He seemed to understand and play within the system as a freshman last season, so I’m not surprised. But it’s great to hear, still. It seems like Garrett, Braun, Agbaji, and McCormack are likely starters. I thought Thompson was going to start, but that seems a little more shaky now. I wonder who the fifth starter will be.

  Always nervous about early season games, especially with a squad counting on production from newbies. It sounds like Gonzaga is loaded and with quality upperclassmen. But heck… I’m always game to play Gonzaga! Bring’em on!

  I know Marcus is capable of handling the ball. What I don’t know is how well he sees the game from the perspective of a PG and then acts on it. Does he know how to create offense? As good as he is, I’m wondering if he will be able to excel at PG within one year. Dot was just coming into a good flow and then was gone.

  Baylor should be the clear cut #1. Not sure why Gonzaga is even Top 5 after their big man left. I can see them being a Top 10 team, maybe even Top 5 good but not sure I see it on paper right off the bat.

  Adapting to the more physical college game was always a question with Bryce. Shoot, we could easily see Braun over Bryce for awhile in the non-con.
