  @justanotherfan I agree that Weis decimated the future of the team for the next few years. The off-season dismal’s certainly didn’t help at Wr & RB but I have a feeling they were probably for the good of the team going forward. He does deserve at least 2 years until expectations should be placed on him. Recruiting & player development with what he has is paramount. I think if he a creates a competitive nature & finds ways to be competitive in the games without the players he needs that will go a long way to telling what they have with him at coach.

  I really have not thought about Vick very much since the WUGs. However, after seeing him step to the plate fearlessly in international play in S. Korea, I am confident that he can rise to the occasion for major minutes in case Frank or Devonte should get hurt. If all 3 of them return a year from now, Vick is bound to see considerable playing time. Bill Self could possess a 2016-17 squad very similar to the group he donated to Bruce Weber when Self left Illinois. 3 outstanding quick guards, a banger, and a smooth gunner at power forward.

  @Texas-Hawk-10 Let’s see 3-4 hours of travel and not drinking on the beach…pass. I would have a better chance of watching the game on a tv on the beach than in my home in sw Kansas though. If that’s how you like to spend your vacation time more power to you! I prefer to take in the local attractions and not watch tv or surf the web while vacationing. I travel to Lawrence to watch KU, that is the local attraction!

  Yep - I loved the guy - he was in essence a big kid having he was in essence big kid having fun - he was always smiling and had such great enthusiasm - he was a bit weird and different and seemed to understand that the NBA is really entertainment at its core. Someone here posted some Darrell dunk highlights like two or three weeks ago… They are absolutely ferocious dunks … The guy was A behemoth with athleticism This is a story I heard from a friend of mine who was a Sixers fan… Not sure if I remembered it right, but Darrell had been complaining that his shoulder really hurt - but his doctor couldn’t find anything - One day his doctor happen to see darryl near the stadium with a boombox on his shoulder The size of a small sofa that must’ve weighed 70 pounds - he called Darryl and said " I think I’ve diagnosed your shoulder pain …" He was a original, and put a smile on my face many times RIP mr Thunder

  ATT got so expensive, we switched … got tired of continually calling to get the rates reduced. I stayed out of it because I didn’t want the KU thing to influence, and I let my wife decide on the new provider. We ended up going with Comcast because of the price. What funny is my wife didn’t know that Comcast was the one that had the channel with the KU games (TW sports channel). When she told me her decision, I mentioned it to her. The next day, she had to call Comcast for something and asked about it to see if it was included. The service rep didn’t know what she was talking about (and further, when my wife talked to them initially, they didn’t even bring it up either). So … I don’t have to go to BWW to watch the games anymore. That’s good.

  @jaybate-1.0 I dont pay close attention to recruiting. I dont much care about recruits 2 years out from graduating highschool. Its only when they become Seniors that I even get a bit interested. But, your hypothesis does bear some weight for support in my opinion. Data can be reflected anyway the computer sees fit. High school players, recruits can be categorized and referenced just the same. I bet that if you put even more thought into it, that a third category could be made.
