Don’t see a legitimate reason to play WSU in the regular season. Maybe Bruce feels different but l don’t respect his thought process most of the time anyway. He does have a lot of previous excuses to explain losses to the Shuckers.
My interest has been more at the local level through coaching my kids and some school teams. I have so many sports to watch I’ve never gotten into it a whole bunch. But it is a great sport.
@dylans
ESPN has been losing viewers big time and by extension advertising. They have had a couple of big layoffs and they desperately need money. Expect to see more of it.

I’m counting around 15 4* recruits so far. That includes the expectation that Agbaji gets the bump he should receive by the end of 2018 rankings updates.
What’s even more promising for the league is almost every team is adding an impact transfer. The league has really embraced transfers
KU- The Lawson, Charlie Moore
K-St- Austin Trice
TCU- Aussie import Alok
Texas Tech- Tariq Owens (grad transfer from St Johns)
Texas- Elijah Mitrou-Long (I believe Nas Long’s brother), averaged 15ppg at his last stop.
Baylor- Mario Kegler- former Top 40 recruit, Machai Mason- star at Yale
Iowa St- Virginia Transfer Shayok
Oklahoma- Juco All-American Kuath. Grad transfer Reynolds at PG
Oklahoma St- Michael Weathers.
@kjayhawks ya I saw that. - -he wife added this morning told Clint they were on vacation Saturday. - Said this morning though she is not that mean lol. - -said if KU makes the championship Monday he can go lol. - - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY
@mayjay
Correct. I posted all the number yesterday after the game. 15 behind as of today and could got to 13. I believe UNC is now 20 games behind after being in front of KU for a long time. Coach Self sure has moved the needle in the right direction.
@DoubleDD it’s easy to say that, but college doesn’t develop players well enough in its current form for the NBAPA to agree to that. Nor does it pay players when the NBA would and taking out 3 years of potential earnings is a lot.
My thought is this: Add 10 games to the season and adopt NBA rules. That fixes a lot of the development issues most will have. Let players hire agents who’s job is to simply fetch endorsement deals. That takes care of the fair compensation issues. I wouldn’t have any requirements to stay. My thing is that I would simply create an environment that makes the decision to Stay in college a profitable one for the players. Where they are getting proper development and paid fairly so that they only go to the NBA when they are ready to go.
@JayHawkFanToo They will get credit for firing him. In 1988, we might have gotten penalized more if LB had not gone to San Antonio. He previously had turned down the Lakers (I think), and I always wondered if Bob Frederick pushed him out after finding out through channels about the death penalty being more likely if he stayed.

FYI Mo Bamba declared for the draft.
Also Lindell Wigginton has decided to enter but will not hire an agent. I think he’ll get invited to the Combine which can help him. I have a feeling he returns for his Soph year on what should be a better ISU team and leaves after next year.
This is just as well. Shaka seemed not to know what to do with such a great match up advantage.
@BShark it would just surprise me if he risked his NBA stock to stay home again. I feel like that family learned their lesson with Dedric. If Dedric posted the same line he did at Memphis in a P5 conference he would be a first rounder. At least I would think so.
