Back in the old days this would have been a good class to grab some 4-year program guys that we can develop patiently. Unfortunately there is no point in doing so anymore as they will transfer away

@jayballer67 No, @TYOHawk made his comment about KU’s potential backcourt in 2024-25 including Bethea, Harris, Jackson, and Morris and I replied don’t be surprised is Jackson isn’t in that group because he is a projected to be a 1st round pick in the 2024 NBA Draft by a lot of projection sites.
That doesn’t mean he won’t play at KU this upcoming season. Most projection sites have him in the back half of the 1st round which means Jackson does have work to do this season to validate that spot. It doesn’t mean Jackson will for sure be OAD, but it does mean he’s on the NBA’s radar and will be one of the primary reasons NBA scouts are coming to KU games this season.

I haven’t watched enough 2024 guys to have really strong views on anyone other than Flory, but keep in mind if they don’t get the top guys on their board it’s an immediate pivot to the portal to get the last of the covid year guys. The 2024 class almost without exception will get ABUSED year 1.

Well dam , I was reading that we had made the top 4 for Flory Bidunga, was getting a little excited, was reading he had a strong Adidas connection, & Ku was the only one of the 4 that was Adidas
It’sKU , Auburn , Michigan , & Duke. --Is this going to turn into a NIL bidding war ? - -was reading from on 3 that his NIL value is at 530,000 dollars. - They say they way they determine that is performance - - Influence - -& Exposure. - -Anyways hasn’t set a date but has said he would like to make a decision before the start of his Senior Season. - - So overall was gettin my hopes up a little bit when w made the final four and then - - -

Amazing how they can routinely land top Adidas circuit guys…when adidas programs definitely don’t take the top Nike kids.

Yeah it will even out a bit. Just annoying that they were able to do this before “NIL”. Even UK wasn’t plucking adidas kids like them. Even a guy like Whitehead stock bombing at Duke hasn’t hurt them.
