I’ve had my issues about Trae -mainly some of the shot selection and such there has been others but this is one of my big issues with him.
However he IS a really good player, I think last night was another example for me anyways where I actually felt Trae played a pretty good overall game. I mean I know I think ESPN yes does have their nose buried really deep up this kid butt , and I agree to put one players stat line above a box score for an entire game is just sad.
Hell why don’t they do that for Bagley - - Ayton - -Carter or even Allen for that matter to just name a few if their gonna pull that crap -anyways though having said that last night he was pretty solid actually.

I Think the field house can still be very loud. - -I have noticed though it does get pretty quiet pretty fast if we get down 8-9 points, this is something that didn’t use to happen in the past.
I remember times when I was in the filed house at a game and you might as well save your breath if you wanted to talk to your friend sitting next to you -if you wanted to say anything to him. The only time you could might be during a time out or half something along those lines.
During the game on more then one occasion with friends of mind - I swear it was sooo loud I always left with a headache it was so loud, didn’t matter who they played - -although there were exceptions. - -I wen to a KU/UK game - - - - -FORGET IT LOL. - - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

Y ou put the above that I mentioned with # 2 and that is that in reality this league is brutal , there are no given W’s on any day or night like there use to be. You can’t go down the schedule anymore and say OH well there is a win. - -We just beating the hell out of one another. So you combine those two together , to go along with our depth issue , and some players inconsistency - -this is the result period.
It’s not the result of Coaching , ya sure the recruiting class for this season wasn’t the best - we have had some situations Billy leaving , and having to try and get Silvio which we can see is not going to really help this season much if at all -Bill missing out on some targets but with what he has this year – -18-5 tied for the lead is not that bad and we still have just a good of chance to win this title yet again this year as any of the other 9
Yet to think there are some that think we should fire/replace/force - -Coach Self out? - -Then you need help - -serious help. - -You want him out - so who you gonna replace him with that would do any better with this current roster? - -Look at what we got coming in next year - -he isn’t getting the recruits? - - really? - is that why our lass coming in is rated anywhere from # 1-3 ? - - Coach Self has done as much as he can with what we have got. - You want him to replace a player in the line up? – Who you going to replace him with? - -Garrett? - he is good defensively - but liability offensively - that’s not the answer. - - Cunliffe? – please we see where that has went. - -who you got? -who is going to be that big difference maker on this roster worthy of a change?

Well guys got a couple of interesting games tonight. - -I will say it now and you might very well think I’m as crazy as all get out. Anyways here I go:
For some reason I just for a strange reason and I agree it sounds crazy the way their season has been BUT, - - -don’t be real surprised if Iowa State doesn’t some how find that so called Hilton Magic for this one and pull an upset tonight – I know Iowa State is 11-9 - -but I just think West Virginia is struggling 3-2 in their last 5 , they struggle at times - -their offense has lapses stretches have trouble scoring, and with this on the road - just think this might be the game that bites them. - SOOOO , I’m calling it guys tonight WV going down - will be close but that’s my prediction - -at least I give you a good laugh.
Now Texas & Texas Tech - - here again I think could be interesting. Texas is playing better , I feel they are getting better , I think here too is a possibility of an upset. I was able to watch only the second half, but it became obvious that his teammates could not handle several of his hot passes. If Latin could play like that Konate lad of WVU, Trae would have probably logged a half dozen more assists. And I think maybe OU was playing without James last night. The whiz kid has to carry a weary load in order for his squad to stay ultra competitive. In our league I have seen nothing like him since Kevin Durant’s year at Texas. And I have never watched a freshman point guard anywhere with the polish of this kid. He is an absolute gem for the Big 12. If the OU fandom was as rabid as KU’s, they would fill a second field house with folks desperate to watch and bless him in clusters before a giant screen.
