That crash was scary as hell. Newman got hit on the driver’s side while his car was upside down. 20 years ago and he would’ve been killed by that crash, it’s crazy how far the safety of racecars have come. Probably the biggest legacy of Dale Earnhardt’s death was the push for safety improvement in auto racing.

@DanR I think the intentional may have been moot because the foul was called on the first foul the guy committed which wasn’t intentional.
That shouldn’t have been a back court violation because Dotson tipped it.
