N C State just flat took it to Duke last night. - -Pretty well had control of that game through out. - -duke made a little mini run about half way through the 2nd half cut it to 10 - -but NC State stole their jocks and left Duke standing at the turnstile lol.

I watched ETSU game. Both ETSU & Furman are good teams. ETSU just had a little bit more firepower + playing at home. It’s a shame they won’t get an Auto bid with the season they are having. Road win @ LSU, played KU close. Kenpom has them #56 team. What hurts their profile is 3 games against Non-D-1 teams and 4 teams ranked in the high 300’s. A good team that belongs to dance and won’t if they slip up. The Southern Conference has 3 teams that should dance and they will only get 1, sad

It was the worst lost to a non-ranked team in Coach K’s career. Glad he finally got that monkey off his back.
Auburn has had an incredibly lucky season. Showing some worts lately

And its a shame it isn’t. The tournament is a billion dollar revenue stream no matter who’s in the darn thing. I just know this ETSU team is capable of beating a P5 team in the first round and if they don’t get the opportunity to show that for some reason they should scream to whoever will listen. We see it every year. This is one of those years I really feel for the little guys.

@BeddieKU23 the auto bid should go to the regular season champion imo. The Southern is legit this year. ETSU, Furman and UNCG are all good.

@BShark I’ve alway thought the auto bid should go to the regular season champ, the only reason they do it off the tournament is draws more money from TV.

Ha! At first I got a lot of shit for it but people have gotten more used to it as I’ve done it less often and I occasionally wear a lighter shade of blue. When in Rome, after all. The 2018 Elite Eight game got me a lifetime of good will in Chapel Hill too

@jayballer73 I’m good with our having signed Braun rather than Hurt. If Hurt is a OAD it speaks volumes as to why I no longer watch the NBA - a bad product. I mean really bad. Case in point, who’s going to win the NBA championship this year? I’ll give you a hint - and it’s not even close - the team will come from L.A. It’s been like that for a long time now, no parity at all.

@Marco I’m pretty much against the OADs at this point. I’m okay with one and that’s it, same way with transfers. One of each is fine, anymore and the team had little chemistry.

@kjayhawks our best two players are also the highest rated out of hs. Neither oad though. Need talent to win. Definitely with you on transfers. Grad transfer to fill a need is okay.

@BShark Ya, I’m not saying only go for sub 100 guys but seems like most of the for sure OADs here have flopped IMO. You can get good players like Dot that will stay for 2 or 3 years.

@FarmerJayhawk it should be a 40 point win, only Sneed and Diarra are power 5 level of players and Sneed has been garbage this season after being really good last season.

BYU & St. Mary’s both have a decent shot to make the tourney. That’d make it 3 from the WCC…not bad for a mid-major
