Man up and play defense. Kid hit a difficult shot, it happens.
We’d all be bitching about if KU have up the offensive board and put back as well to tie it saying Self should’ve played defense. Self’s defenses have stopped that shot far more than teams have made it over the years.

It is debatable because Self isn’t the only coach who plays defense in that situation.
