Agree... It was very physical.... and I thought there were a few calls that both teams could be upset about... but I guess I'm so used to the calls going against us that this game overall felt like a gift.
The refs allowed a lot of contact and there were lots of no calls that rewarded a guy being aggressive (e.g. Elmarko steal mentioned above, but also Awaka, etc.). That seemed to play into our favor a bit more than Arizona as we were the aggressor most of the night.

@wissox83 I want a close up of that one, it really looked like a flop live but you only get one angle in person

I didn't know that DP wasn't playing until right before tip off and honestly thought we were just going to be over powered, but for the final 6+ minutes I was standing in front of my tv and seeing how wrong I had been. I thought our HEART, more than anything, was going to be the deciding factor and boy did they show it. What a memorable game, intense feeling, so much pride and giddy happiness all rolled up in one! So proud of the team. I haven't see Coach that happy since Muck Fizzou! We deserve all of these emotions considering what we saw the last few years. The chip is back @drgnslayr !!! #RockChalkJayhawk

Player of the Game: Bidunga
MVP: AFHTiller continues to improve and was crucial.
Respect to Tommy Lloyd and Arizona. He took the high road post-game; that team is stacked.But, Tiller seems to have a good game, then follows it with a 4 or 6 pt underwhelming game. We need consistency Bryson, come on now.

@BShark Well I looked for it, I'm at work, so may have to do some research later!
-
@wissox83 I'll see what I can find as well. I'm definitely a bit biased though.

Christian Braun presser:
On the way out the door he was asked if he heard about Kansas beating undefeated Arizona“No big deal. That was expected”

Some games we need scoring from Tiller, others we need him to rebound, defend the post & make good decisions with the ball which he's become more consistent in doing. Last night we needed scoring along with the other things. He's come on strong and continues to get better and show the tantalizing talent

Allen field house was so good for this game. I feel like an underrated part of the magic of that place is how knowledgeable the fans are. I noticed I’d taken it for granted when I started to go to games other places. The crowd always sees to know when they can help with a run. And yes they feed off the players and big plays make the place go nuts. But not everywhere has fans that will get loud when the team is down and needs a lift. And I felt like this game the crowd was loud ALL game because the team needed it ALL game. Time outs and dead balls meant nothing to them. The momentum in that second half was not to be denied and that is a credit to the building, the students, and every other fan in attendance.

I just re-watched last night's game. We still won.

I gave my son one of the posters that I created for the Kansan in the 90s and told him to take it to the game for good luck..
-
@bskeet Speaking of posters...

-
Some posters never get old

The local establishment I was at last night (which has $3.50 all drafts on Mondays, hell of a deal) was absolutely belligerent in the best ways during the game. Nothing compares to Mass St during Final Fours but it was crazy for a Monday night in February.
-
@bskeet really cool!
-
@tundrahok that was when Fran said that guy/AZ was D player of the year and the rest is right there!
