@BeddieKU23 Council scores the easiest 16 points. I was just shocked to see the boxscore and notice he had that many because I might have thought it was maybe 8 at the most.

@benshawks08 fine wine, this comment.

I know I literally said the same thing this morning looking at the box score. I absolutely love watching him attack on offense. Wish we could clone him every year. Well Fran's trying to by calling him Vincent all night. Gramps needs an extended vacation
-
A tough fought game and the good news is neither coach left the court in handcuffs. RC

I'm worried that the Utah game may be a trap game. I'm assuming DP will sit it out or just play a few minutes. With AZ coming in Monday and the usual ESPN Big Monday hype, it will be hard for our guys to find energy and motivation for a 9-12 opponent.
-
@stoptheflop You're worried about dropping a game vs Utah and I'm over here thinking if we can sweep zona, a B12 champ isn't off the table.
Don't disagree with your thought process, but also think KU would have to play their worst game of the season for Utah to have a chance to win. This team hasn't shown that they routinely sleepwalk through games, so I'm not worried too much about that happening.
-
At this point, the team is playing for tournament seeding and still in contention for the B12 title. Every game matters.
A win over Houston may move them from the 4 seed to the 3 seed.
A win over both Houston and Arizona... they are solidly a 3 seed and might move them to the 2 seed plus put them in position to legitimately compete for the B12 Title. -
@bskeet I saw where they were already a 3 seed after BYU. Every game improves on that seeding from here on out. Getting the dub at such a hard place for us is good conditioning for what is to come.
-
@RockChalkinTexas-0 Cool.. (I was just looking at Lunardi @espn and he still has us on the 4 line)
And I agree -- last night's win should convince skeptics: Saturday, we won by jumping to a healthy lead and then holding off a comeback. Monday, we won by coming from behind on the road. Both Top 20 teams.
Two very different ways to win.
Please please please make this the beginning of a fantastic run to April.
-
@bskeet I think it was CBS where I saw it.
I thought this encapsulated the flow of the game and my heartbeat very accurately!!!

This was the snapshot I like!
92 seconds. Less than 25% chance.

-
After a score to make it 57-47 with 8:17 left we finished 17-4. This despite zebras rewarding them with 2 replay reviews. I was distracted by something at that time so watching with great scrutiny was happening, but what I thought was we could have won both of those challenges. Held them to 4 points over 8 minutes. Held them to 61, their 2nd lowest total of the season. Purdue walloped them back in November. Obviously our offense didn't win the game for us last night, it was our defense.
-
If one was indisputable, then the other should have been too. There wasn't clear evidence to overturn either.
Not sure if they'll review their review, but I don't think it will smell good with time.
-
Attempting only 53 shots to Tech's 72 is very concerning. But, we were able to somewhat negate it by getting to the line more than they did.
-
@bskeet I'm watching right now. 1st challenge, looked like we could've received the ball, but understood the call at least. Watching 2nd one right now and I think we got screwed.
-
40 Threes is SOOOOO many attempts. Lol
-
It's been said, but probably worth saying again: FLORY. This was a defensive game. And we had the better defense and the BEST defensive player.
Flory has to be defensive player of the week in the B12 and should get some recognition nationally.

Felt pretty good about it after the game.
