@BeddieKU23 yesss!

Any word on Elmarko’s status? I’m assuming DP is a go for at least half of the game.
-
(Elmarko) He's officially questionable. DP will play until the cramps hit.
-
I feel like this is an elimination game for the B12 championship. The loser will have 3 losses and likely need to win out to have any shot at it with how Arizona and Houston are playing to date.
-
For those not familiar with Tech:
One of the best 3 point shooting teams in the nation. High volume with efficiency. Anderson/Atwell have combined to make 145 3's already on the season. For context that's only 20 less then the ENTIRE KU team has made on the season.
Top 50 in Defensive Rebounding Rate, Top 100 in Offensive Rebounding
Low Turnover rate, high Assist Rate
12th nationally in allowed assist rate. KU needs to find a way to move the ball.
Not great in fast break, not great in steal rate or block rate defensively. That could change since they got Luke Bamgboye & Josiah Moseley back this past week. Bamgboye averaging 2 blocks a game.
They don't attack the paint often and don't get to the FT line.
Not much of a bench (did get a boost this past week though).

@BeddieKU23 I'm cramping right now just thinking about it.
-
@BeddieKU23 watched them quite a bit lately, seems like they get in foul trouble quite a bit.
-
I sure hope Flory, Bryson and Tre stay out of foul trouble like they did against BYU. Slowing down Toppin and stopping open 3s would sure help

Might not be as likely on Big Monday at home with KU in the house...
-
Yeah, I've been watching them as well.
I expect the ref's to be one-sided as they have been in the past when we come to Lubbock.
They have two bigs back from injury for depth inside that gave them minutes at UCF. They are lean on the perimeter so that's something to exploit.
Really need a bad shooting night from them on the perimeter since 46% of their shots come from 3, they are averaging 91 ppg in conference play at home so far.

This has all the markings of a very tight game. My calculations show this 85-83 Tech. Tech averaging 88.6 over last five and KU averaging 83. Tech allowing 77 over last five and KU 67.6. Tech beat Houston and BYU and KU beat ISU and BYU. We are playing our best on Offense now but TTU will score early from the top from Anderson and often from Toppin on floaters. We need to answer from the start and don't get buried. Getting 10 threes efficiently and we are in it all game. Toppin is the hardest working player I've watched this year. He is fast on the run and hustles endlessly and averages about 37 minutes. Anderson also plays that many minutes. We can count on Jamari to play hard and hit a couple of threes. Elmarko is questionable and I replayed the tripping call with Dybantsa and Elmarko clipped his knee on AJ's leg. Bill thinks it is extra painful because of the knee injury from last year.

My recommendation is for KU fans to just turn the sound off or use the Varsity App and synch the game with the TV while listening to Brian Hanni. I don't mind Fran that much, but usually listen to Hanni anyways.
