I think we should use this line up going forward, MG is a great defender but the offense look better. Some of it was we were hitting from the outside but I like everyone of our guards shots better than his.

Ochai had a Double double, his rebounding and defense is great for a kid thats just played his 8th game I believe. He was a huge get at this point, a diamond in the rough.

I felt like Ochai was just okay today. Didn’t do anything to hurt the team but missed a few shots. Then I saw the box score and he had 10/10/3. He’s a really good athlete but also a smart player, great combo.

Great game for sure, only issue was offensive rebounds at the start of the 2nd half and a couple of nit picking turnovers.

Great to see him actually contribute.
My only negative from today would be Dave. He got set up on a platter twice and couldn’t finish. I hope he toughs it out at KU. Almost any other recruiting class and he isn’t a McDAA but he can be a good player in time.

@BShark Thats how you know you have a good player, misses a couple of open looks but still was very effective in the end.

The thing about today for me was the energy was better than we have shown in weeks right from the tip. I always say if you play hard, good things will happen. I loved seeing guys smiling and having fun, even Grimes flashed a smile a couple of times. We played loose and had fun. It will take a similar effort again tuesday in Manhattan.

Anei’s (Big For ok st) center of gravity (waist) is so high. Doke would destroy that guy.

Nice to see Charlie recover from some boneheaded shots early and learn to be a positive impact when his shot isn’t falling. Dude finished with 6 assists. His shot is as bad as Garrett % wise.
