Man that was ugly, I dont know why we keep struggling with these Mid Majors but a lot of is effort IMO. We got up 10 the first 3 minutes then they out hustled us for the next 27 minutes. That is a recipe to go home the first weekend.

A win is a win but as wins go this one was pretty ugly.

@BShark good pesky little team. I wanted to tell you how Chris Jans got that job at Shlockerland. They looked all over Wichita to try to find anyone that would go get drunk with Marsha and Big Mouth. Noone would, except a former coach who got fired for getting drunk, and making lewd comments towards young women. Jans fit perfectly. He’s a good coach when he isn’t snot slobbering drunk, and acting like a pedophile.

I’m tellin you ya we won we keep pulling rabbits out of the hat - -one of these times - -we will reach for that rabbit and no rabbit there.

Would be nice for once not to have to reach for THAT rabbit. - -Grimes starts out nice then NOTHING the rest of the game - -same with Charlie - - it’s a win that’s about all I can say - -The ONE thing -the one , and that is come NCAA time we should have plenty of experience playing in tight game and knowing how to stay working. - - -how many times have we had to come from behind. - - Mitch 7 points - - 6 rebounds and what 3 charges? – ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

Win is a win. Learning opportunities. Even more so, coaching opportunities. Can get those through losses but better when you can get them with wins.

Derrick is the base player in the band. Needs to be there. Don’t notice as much most of the time. Just if you’re listening or if he’s not there or if he screws up.
Gotta have it but it’s the rest that will be the wow factor.

7 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 block in 18 minutes and played good defense and drew a couple of charges.

We always suck in the KC game. At least the first one. I think it was a good game- we got tested by a good defensive team that is an NCAA team from last year.

When some Spanish derpface goes 7-10 against you in the paint you don’t get player of the game. Dedric made big buckets down the stretch but NMSU would not have been in the game with an athletic, defensive big.

WE got mostly C grades from Benton Smith for the game. B for defense. C may be a little high for our over all performance.
